Will def do this crossing one day but I don’t think I’ll be able to afford that suite. The part of your friends watching a movie looks like the guy was having a pick before putting his hand on his pants ..
ОтветитьLmao everyone on the cruise looks to be about 80 years old.
ОтветитьSorry babe but it’s a dislike for having LINUS as sponsor. JuSt tRuSt uS FoR wArRaNtY
ОтветитьJust got off Celebrity and it was awful how much up selling they did. Also the expensive prices for Bingo and games. But the worst thing and the reason why I’ll never sail with them again was the a la carte restaurant shut breakfast down at 9 a.m. you had to be finished, the only other place for the entire ship to eat resulted in an extremely hectic buffet. Just awful and we were in a suite. To consider that even our speciality restaurant Lumiere did this even on sea days!
ОтветитьI want to travel to Great Britain in the next two years and I want us to take a transit clinic cruise. They just look so fun and relaxing.
ОтветитьMy man has two great channels with great videos.
ОтветитьI really wish they provided and offered more than one drug. As a non-drinker, it would be nice if you could choose from a selection of edibles, vapes, and concentrates, instead of just booze.
ОтветитьWhat’s bellend in American?
ОтветитьLTT jump scare 😂
ОтветитьNever been on a cruise, never thought one was worth going on. This video changed my mind. This looks fantastic given all the amenities and things to do.
ОтветитьThis was by far the BEST review I have seen of the Queen Mary 2, and possibly the best single review I've seen of any cruise ship! Many thanks for the time and effort (not to mention expense) you put into this polished, articulate, entertaining and truly informative presentation!
Ответитьthe ship's clientele seems to be mostly grey haired people..🤣.. self reminder to enjoy life while am young..
ОтветитьIn 2011 we booked a last minute trip to join some friends on the 14 night Transatlantic trip on Disney Magic from Florida to Spain. 6 days to make the crossing. Was so relaxing and dirt cheap. We only paid $700 per person and never have had that good of a value on a trip again. We also had the 12 PM Captain’s report to remind us that the water was deep and the ship was moving east. Our special entertainment also had some great guest speakers and even Charo was onboard for an amazing guitar concert. Disney lost lots of the special touch over the years.
ОтветитьCongratulations Jake, and Happy Holidays, and New Year to you and your family and Friends! Well done 👏. I have enjoyed your content for 5 years, and can't wait to see what you do next!
ОтветитьI would have been absolutely gassed to see John Cleese! Worth it just for that.
ОтветитьHow did your friends eat with you in the Queen's Grill dining room when they were staying in a Britannia Class sheltered balcony? I wasn't aware you were allowed to eat in a dining room of a higher class than your cabin.
ОтветитьAs a lady of a certain age i was privileged to sail on many of these grand old ladies . The ss United Ststes, her sister the America, the Isle de France and so many more ,and i must say that technology in the form of the airplane did not improve mans quality of life. Rush, rush stress stress when ships like the United States could've transported you in a litte over 3 days in stress free confort. Other slower ships would, could , provide the best possible way to decompress in luxury letting you arrive rested and with bucketfull of memories . I for one am one of the lucky ones. And so I must say adieu my ladies it was a sad day when you left us.❤
Oh and these greats are. not cruise ships, the were transatlantic ocean liners.❤
If I ever go to the UK this is how I plan on getting there. Thanks a lot for the video.
ОтветитьThat suite is almost as big as my house... and certainly far more closet space lol
Edit: 2,200 Sqft?!?!? ....okayyyyy its much larger than my house (945 sqft) lmao
Edit2: That price omg 🤣🤣🤣
lets see, groceries or spend entire paycheck on a voyage... yeah no
Royal Caribbean... spending my entire mortgage on a cruise lmfao
Celebrity asking 1.5x my yearly salary. crazy
Man am I glad you go on these trips so I can see them and not spend money from the comfort of central PA
Wow an LTT sponsorship! Mind Blown!
ОтветитьAmazing! So beyond impressed.
ОтветитьThis channel should be called Trust Fund Travels.
ОтветитьWe’re gonna have to watch this 1000 times each in order for you to recoup the money you spent on this cruise 😂😂
ОтветитьMmmm a cruise that smells like poo….
Pass!
Those tiny meals, while pretty always leave me hungry.
ОтветитьWow - you love ocean voyages even more than I do by the sound of things. I was lucky enough to travel on the Queen Mary from Southampton to New York when I was a teen in the ‘60s. Of course this was a practical voyage not a vacation. But I loved going up to the open decks and hearing the horn blast it out at midday and listen to the Morse code being tapped out in the radio room. Those were the days…
ОтветитьI SO want to sail on the QE2; also love Ocean Liners and wish they would bring more back. The price is crazy, but then, you are getting something crazy large - I mean that suite is twice the size of my house_. O_o It's surprising though that paying that price they don't include absolutely everything. Think you're right in that for the most part, you can just get the normal suites. I like that you compare the price at the end too; shows that a flight is really only _faster , not better.
ОтветитьGigantic waste of money to be honest.
Ответитьgood stuff
ОтветитьNone of that looks particularly fun - other than seeing the night stars in the ocean and the ocean itself. The activities seem to be drinking, listening to lectures, planetarium, and fancy dinning...........to each their own, but that sounds pretty boring.
ОтветитьHi, Thank you for doing this video. Yours, Ann
ОтветитьLooks like a floating luxury retirement home.
ОтветитьI’m working in Stavanger, Norway and recently woke up to this beauty being moored downtown. Was amazing to see it in person and I hope to one day sail on it. Thank you for bringing us onboard with you!
ОтветитьI felt like you took the words right out of my mouth in your intro as a fellow "lifelong ship nerd who always dreamed of going on this ship"
The difference is that I still haven't gotten to go yet 🥲
This video has just doubled my desire to go as soon as I can!
watched a bunch of Linus videos and they always have a sponsor. first time I'm seeing them sponsor someone else, crazy
ОтветитьWhat was the smell in the bathrooms? Like a septic smell or trash? Ugh, that might be a deal-killer. Surprised there were no comments already.
ОтветитьI've been on QM2 many times and love it. Agree with your observations and appreciate your videos.
ОтветитьWow a segway to a sponsor by LTT.
Never expected that, but I do enjoy the content of both channels so good for you
why is this making me consider going on a cruise, i have 0 money and im scared of the ocean
ОтветитьLTT are horrible people. See DMCA abuse. Fraudulent warranty practices.
ОтветитьThe more I watch this amazing channel, the more I think it’s just a massive tax write off that can be used to travel for free basically
ОтветитьOn behalf of all the ocean liner nerds out there, thank you. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to afford a trip like that (even the low class options) and it’s so nice to see such an in depth perspective into the experience on board. Feels like I’m really there.
ОтветитьQE2 had duplex suites.
ОтветитьWhat I love is how it feels British, the Kettle chips are a popular choice here and the two premium suites are named after castles where Liz liked to stay
ОтветитьI appreciate the video! Glad you enjoyed your time.
At those prices I don't see how anyone would want to go on a Cruise anywhere.
I've stayed in AirBnB's that were nicer than that room for a quarter of the price.
To me it just makes much more sense to take a few hours flight to an amazing destination and use my money there to experience the culture, food, etc.
Locking myself to a ship at sea just seems like a waste of time and money.
But to each their own!
I was very pleased with the dining. It's one of the main things I watch out for on cruises.
