ОтветитьI just had my car stop I thought maybe my battery, the young mechanic girl said it was starter motor, she did quick little on off with the key 🔑 and it started… she said it may have dust in starter and I had driven over dirt country road this morning …🔑🔑🔑

ОтветитьWould a OBD2 be able to tell you what’s wrong without having to check the voltage stuff? My Nissan Murano 2007 lights go on and radio but it’s a no crank no start. Wierd thing is that it shows the red key light like it thinks theft
ОтветитьHi I’m TJ, need help for my Toyota Avalon 2004, tryed to clear codes by removing both + &- connectors and touch them together,
The car won’t crank and start
Need help
I was looking because after scrubbing the posts and terminals, new battery, new starter, new alternator, new relays, new fuses...Now what?
ОтветитьGreat job! Detailed but to the point. Nicely done! Thanks! My problem turned out to be corrosion on the cables where they attached to the positive battery post. My guess is the post kept getting corroded, kept getting cleaned but the cables were “infected” as a longer term result.
ОтветитьThank you for your helpful video!!!!
ОтветитьNeutral safety switch?
Ответитьjust want to thank you for the most direct and pleasant tutorial i had ever experienced . after i watched your channel, i decided to venture on some other very popular mechanic and it was a disaster from the beginning of his start he started talking about a book to his neighbors barbecue! thank you for not trying to kiss up to your viewers by giving bits of your personal life. i couldn't even stay watching because he took to long to show you how to. i'm not a mechanic but i am a all around handyman and i enjoy watching you tube and mostly masters on there gifted profession i just added you to my subscription. and I'm sending you a contribution. God bless you and your family.
ОтветитьYour voice is so reassuring. 😢❤

Ответитьsomeone help please i don’t know much about cars my Acura is my first car I was on my way home from work. MIND YOU WORK IS 20 MINUTES AWAY FORM ME. I was about 5 mins away from home and while i was turning a corner my wheel gets stiff and my car gas gets stiff as well. the day prior my oil pressure light was on and it stayed on. i turned my car off then tried turning it back on and it never started back up. what can it be? i been doing my own investigation looking at videos and i’m thinking maybe alternator/starter/oil pump? someone let me know if those can be possibilities!
ОтветитьI dont usually like long vids, but your vid is really great and so informative. Thank you for the great effort. God bless

ОтветитьAmazingly helpful!! Thank you!!
Ответитьi had oodles of corrosion. before but i had bad terminal cables i had them rewelded.350.00 ouch. nit sure why u get corrosion in the first place
ОтветитьSo if your starter is bad but you have a good battery and connection,NONE of your lights including dash board will come on???...can't get even the dashboard lights to come on
ОтветитьHi...why u said solenoid is good when got continuity between s terminal n body motor....What i Know s terminal Will connect to positive ...right. is it cause short when positive iouching negatif..
ОтветитьEasy way to test the starter is to remove the starter relay, then with wire short the power terminals on the base of the relay, just like the relay would do. If the starter is cranking you know there's no fault but somewhere in the circuitry.
