i wish i knew even a fraction of what Andy Seehausen knows.
ОтветитьI see Andy in the pits at every FD round that I’m crewing at and I always feel like we know each other but it’s just cause I see him so much on the internet 😂
You’re a legend dude 🫡
Andy is the literal GOAT of modern drifiting!!!!! Known him since 2008!
ОтветитьAndy's my oldest friend in drifting. Even back when we were driving KA 240s and working on them out of his family's warehouse, he's always worked his absolute ass off. There's no luck that he's had the opportunities he has, he's a smart dude who works harder than anyone. It's hard to find both in the same package nowadays. I seriously can't imagine what he'll accomplish next but it's always fun to see him keep killing it ❤
Ответитьawesome interview
ОтветитьLoved this interview.
Ответитьthis is pretty cool, but the fact that even this guy who does not even drive the cars and only builds them for other people still needs his wife to cover basic cost of living tells you everything you need to know about how harsh the financial situation in drifting is. damn, that's a crazy insight. tysm for sharing
ОтветитьGreat podcast!
ОтветитьGreat interview! Some vehicles I thought you might mention were the Supra or GR86 saw Naoki at Suzuka FD Japan last week and it was magic. Also Daigo and his Mopar V8 swapped Altezza was also super impressive. Yamashita won in a BMW chassis. Have to pickup an S15 shell before it's too late!
ОтветитьAndy is the man!! Super smart dude
ОтветитьAndy is a great friend of mine that I met at LoneStar Drift over 10 years ago. He also got me into FD almost 8 years ago with worthhouse, then Adam and we both are still a part of Formula Drift, just on different teams. I owe a lot to this guy. I started with being a simple mechanic , then building and setting up cars and now crew chiefing In FD for the past few years.
Thank you very much Andy.
The S-Chassis is like a fox body drag car. If you're looking to get into drag cars, you don't get a fox body, you get an s197 or newer. SR20's are like Windsor motors. Unless you're a guy who has been building them for years and years, you generally don't build them. They're classic cars with classic motors. Let them be cool. Drift 'em if you got em. But it's a classic car, not a cheap sports car to go drifting in.
IMHO, if it's old enough to import, it's too old to drift.
me wishing i could do drift week but i am 18 with no car and zero money
ОтветитьRather the science matters more or not depends on the driver. Not all of us are Brutes… I made leaderboard drivers out of brutes.
ОтветитьAndy! My ramprider buddy!
ОтветитьNot only a fab wizard, but a BMX wizard too!
ОтветитьLol this guy HATES LS engines. He said they sound like shit but that's a pretty silly goose opinion. If it sounds like trash put a muffler on it 🤣 It sounds better than any 4 cylinder engine in existence, for example, and he seems to be fine with those. There's no way they sound worse than a 2j, and he likes those COME ON
