C4G, I stumbled on your channel out of nowhere when trying to find more info about Gothic 1 classic for switch. I had already bought Elex 1 and never played it the way I should, couldn't enjoy the 30 minutes I tried playing it. After your videos on Gothic, Risen and Elex (I just avoided the spoilers on every video) and I got them all lol
So thank you! These RPGs were the THING I needed in my life and was looking for a long time.

I wasnt aware of this mod, always played with the basic community patch so this is quite exciting news!

I like the mod. But unfortunately I have the bug that I cannot see any armors in my inventory. I can see Helments and Shields, but not armors. After buying/looting them they disappear. Anyone having the same issue/a solution?

blast from the past,but basicly unplayble today. even with all mods it looks/plays like garbage.

Does anyone have this problem with Hamlar?
After the first battle at Ardea, I talked to him, next to Tristan, and again to Hamlar.
There's a dialogue with him with just three letters : ang
The hero and Hamlar exchange same dialogue line several times, and at the end I got a new mission: ang....
Someone can help me? I don't want to start a new game to find later that I got some other missing dialogue...

Wow this has me super excited. I'm replaying Gothic 1 on Switch, and planned to follow it up with Gothic 2. But seeing this i plan to play all 3 now. I have never played Gothic 3(besides at launch for a couple of hours) this looks like all my issues with the game were solved, or at least addressed as much as possible

Is there option to play this mod pack with colorful normal Gothic 3 graphic?

I love gothic 1 and 2 and remake will be something epic.

Hello! does anyone know why a lot of text (on tools, new recipes, weapons etc) from the new mods merely state "eng" or "en"? Some quest also only have dialogue with the 2 forementioned statements. How do i fix this?

I have a question:
Textures on many npc are simply not working, people are transparent and cannot be seen, same applies even for bodyparts in some cases (usually you see the head and weapons only). But some npcs have it reversed and you see armor only. But very few are bugged both ways and literally invisible, and the hunter between Reddock and Cape Dun (hope I spelled it correctly) is invisible and when I start talking to him, game crashes always. Does it have to do with directx or win compability perhaps? Any way to fix this? Thx for answer!

Hello! I love your content! I just installed everything on your very helpful list today. I did notice a minor change, when trying to install EasyPaladin mod, translation says this:

"Light Paladin
Requirements: ContentModBase
This modification is not compatible with the following mods: Balance Ultimate"

I noticed you installed them both though.

Literaly unplayable it is. Dont get me wrong the mods are very good and the story and world even beter but dificulty curve is enormus. I reached level 30 and i have problems with dealing with 2 orcs not to mention whole town. 2H weapons literaly are unplayable so dont make my mistake go for 2 1H or spells that are even beter. Lack of stagger that was annoying in normal G3 means all enemies will ganbbang on your and your hits will mean they will counter atack you even more. Please if u want to play this read it and play magic/ranged build melle is even more trash that in base game. Dont even think about playing tanky melle build cuz even with paladin armor and like 80 lp invested in HP orcs have me on 3-4 hits.

I have the Steam Version as well and i also tried to activate the Beta Steam Branch (Gothic 3 in my Library even has the addition of "[cpt_1.75.testbranch]". But when I start the game it still shows an old version (6.something) and I also can not choose the Gothic 3 Path when i try to install the first update pack (1.04). It just doesn't give me the option to hit enter. I also can not manually copy and paste the path. Any ideas on how to fix this? I think steam doesn't update to the enhanced edition properly with community patch and the update pack does recognize, that it is the wron version...

The worst game in the franchise. Unfinished mess with repetetive quests, no memorable characters or dialogues, combat system which means just spamming left mouse button, forgetting its own lore established by G1 and G2.... Whoever thinks this game is the best in the series has no taste and doesnt understand what makes original gothic games so good or simply hasnt played them. The only good thing is the soundtrack.

The mod is good, but you cannot talk to bandits (dialogue in english is missing) and a lot of stuff you can buy (armor etc) is invisible and has no description so you do not even know what you are buying. It will be amazing once it has a proper English translation

Im planning on playing these games in the near future. Have you done this for Gotich 1 & 2 and if not could you? Like your essential mods for the games.

hey i recently bought and installed the game but my keyboard doesn"t register any inputs. the game runs fine but i can"t actually do anything. Has anyone else had this issue?

Well, I might try Gothic 3 again, after all. Although I hated it, compared to Gothic 1 and 2, since it was a really, really rushed game. They should have just release it 1 or 2 years later. I'll also need to find a new combat system, if anyone has ever changed it, since it's... plain bad, honestly.

thanks for the video. i played like 12 hrs and now more and more quests arent filled eith text and i dont kow how to progress. i think its the addon which improves the revolution.. well now there is no revolution cuz i dont know what they say :D

they added more unique mods thats are not in your list like for example a pirate dream ,risen/arcania pack ,ultimate balance pack and more ,i m gonna try the game now to see it.

Ok. Im going to tell my experience with this mods. I tried the program a few times until I could find the mods combination that fit for me, because every time you delete o install another mod, your savegames disappear, so when I could find the perfect Mods selection I was looking for I started playing.
At the beginning everything was all right, but, what a surprise when I reach Cape Dum, the buildings were invisibles, all of them, I could even see what there is underground, but in Montera was even worse, cause all the rebels around the town just disappeared, not only that, everybody want to kill me since I reached the town, which doesn't make any sense cause this time I wanted to play for the orcs, all the orcs army next to Vengard also disappeared, all of them, and the magic barrier was invisible, I could go inside Vengard just walkind.
I appreciate your recommendations and the content of your channel, but Gothic 3 is unplayable using this mods.

when installing Update Pack 1.04 i cant click "ok" when navigating to Gothic 3 folder. i have already selected community patch 1.75 on steam.

I had a hard time to get into Sherlock Holmes games from Frogware. I recently gave it a second try; SH First Chapter. And it's soooo good when you finally get into this kind of games.

I installed all as you say in the video and wanted to play with the steam overlay, i noticed that i can run without problems the game from steam and have the overlay but you say that must init it from the launcher, there will be problems if i init it from steam in the future? o it doesnt matter.
