That is a Balik durum. Ekmek would be larger white bread cut in half.
ОтветитьHello, i thank you for making this positive video about Turkey... you guys are amazing... but it would be nice if you told us your names a little slower, because I could not make out your names and it also would be nice to tell us where you from because i detected a British / Australian accent... please confirm. Take care and thanks again for your wonderful tour of Turkey. My name is Adam and I am half Turkish and live in Canada. Peace..
ОтветитьI just noticed you wrote down your name here below.. Thomas and Sheena... so where are you guys from ?

❤️
You guys really ‘emote’ your food experiences so beautifully. Not in a showy way, but in a real way - very descriptive and exactly how I’d love to eat my food every day!!
Ответитьhi there... prices may be deciving in a way that the foods may be bad quality. before thinking this way, consider 1 usd is about 5.5 turkish lira. the rate was 1 to 3 just a year and a half years ago. so you are %83 richer these days in turkey than then.
ОтветитьGreat videos, glad I found this channel.....thanks again...!
ОтветитьTurkish foods is like giving you the happiness.
ОтветитьHello again, Thomas & Sheena!! Didn't know you guys were in Istanbul, so I gotta check out all your Turkish delights!! I've just made my booking for Istanbul, and I am eyeing that Menemen with almighty anticipation! Whee!!!
ОтветитьTake me with you
ОтветитьThat fish sandwich looks really interesting. Like the idea that they grill the whole fish and then filet it for the sandwich. Have not actually see other travel vloggers eat that when they are in Turkey.
Ответитьi like your videos but somehow the women angers me with repeating words like oozing and stuff😂but good videos
Ответитьsimit dough coated with grape molasses then sesame seeds:)
ОтветитьI hate emitating Mark Wien's style. I wait to hear true objective opinion about the food
ОтветитьFor vegan and vegetarian People is turkey a difficult test to resist the amazing possibilities of turkish foods. Its hard!
ОтветитьI am deciding to visit either NYC or Istanbul year end.....I research so many vids and mostly I am seeing lamb meat dishes served In Istanbul .... I absolutely love lamb but unfortunately my Wife does not.
Is it easy to find beef /chicken meat dishes in Istanbul ?
Hi, its so satisfying to watch ur vid, its like one vid and i can save all my time to deep dive into google to find the real nice local food. Thank you so much! Just wonder if you have any food recommendation in cappadocia or izmir or selcuk?
ОтветитьYou guys are great! That fish roll looked insanely delicious but I do like to eat the skin of my fish; I was sad when he took it off. You guys should go to Spain; but just like NZ, we don't have street food, gotta eat in "bars".
ОтветитьSooo gooddddd
ОтветитьIm Turkish but Ive never been to Istanbul. I havent been able to go to Turkey in 3 years but seeing these videos has made me want to go to Istanbul for a few days in the next couple of months. I only came across your channel today and I love you guys already. Good luck, have fun and I cant wait to see your future ventures in Turkey :-)
ОтветитьCould you post what hotel you stayed in and where?
Ответитьeat ice cream or ice cream with baklava
or baklava for tea or buttermilk
to balance
If you eat something added with egg most probably you can not eat anything rest of day :) maybe that's why video finish after menemen :) have a nice journey, enjoy it!
Ответитьvery nice expression and presentation of the Turkish cuisine has no wife in the world
ОтветитьSimit is not just a bread with sesame seeds, it has molasses sauce also. It's very rich Ingredients actually
ОтветитьAs a Turkish person I am really glad you liked our cousine. As a suggestion you should visit several cities except İstanbul. In Turkey literally each city has it s own unique food. İstanbul has a mix of food from all around the country but you what they say: you must taste the food in its original land 😂. I may recommend Gaziantep for baklava and several similar desserts, Adana for obviosly Adana kebap and Kayseri for mantı and pastırma. These cities have also have historical background from the 1. World war and before. If you are interested in, reply back to me and I can give more details. Btw I really love your videos. I tried every food in your İstanbul series several times however you make even me feel hungry 😂😂
Ответитьthey put grape molasses on the surface of the simit, before sesame seeds. That is what gives its colour :) If you look the lady's palm, the molasses can be seen
ОтветитьAmazing vlog about our country! And both of you are so fun and open minded people. I really like the song you use in vlog! May i ask its name?💘
ОтветитьSüper
ОтветитьYou guy definitely need to eat sütlü baklava ! It’s baklava but instead using serbet they used milk. It’s soooooo good🤤
Ответитьggoooodddd
Ответитьİf you really want to find Turkish foods you must visit east of Turkey . Real foods are there
ОтветитьMmm so good ❤️👍
ОтветитьThe last time l watched you buy a Simit was to take on the Ferry ride to feed the seagulls. I legit thought it was bought as like bread to feed the ducks. Wouldn't waste it on the wildlife that looks like chewy sesame seed goodness!! Imagine it with the clotted cream and honey combo mmmmm. Every time l buy baklava the nuts taste a bit stale also. I love it but never had it fresh like that drool worthy slab of goodness. The fish Sandwich looked every bit as tasty as it sounded. Random scrambled eggs, suprised you havent whipped that dish up yet as you gain "The quarantine 15" 🤣 Yum Yum Yum everything👍
ОтветитьDo you guys share the street food, or do you each have the same 😊
ОтветитьU guys are the first couple who take turns to be on the vlogs doing reviews as some couple carry that extra baggage and never bother for the other to be on or even sharing of food. Keep it up plus u guys talk less shit. Love it
ОтветитьHMMMmmm MY COUNTRY ;D
ОтветитьYall talk to much. So annoying
ОтветитьLess musi
ОтветитьMouthwatering food indeed. 😍
