Including PTSD from an extremely abusive and psychological indoctrination from my father, but I live in America, I ve been hospitalized and institutionalized too many times. I'm 20 and doing great now, but because I got the help I needed. But this is fucking barbaric, I get it some people are really really sick. But keeping them in fucking chains like their wild animals and drugging them won't fix anything. They need HELP! My prayers go out!

Combine any genetic factors and trauma endured by the poeple of Yemen due to the instability there further can increase the rates of mental illness. It is fair to say, many people there are probably trying to hide their mental heath struggles as to not endure more abuse from the system. These people are already traumatized due to dealing with unaddressed mental illness and/or trauma, only to endure more trauma, torture, and isolation at these facilities.
