Firefly is a genetically modified human, made to pilot Sam. She mentions she suffers from entropy loss which is because she is modified. Shes like an artificial human like the trailblazer. No stellaron tho.

For hints from the game itself, have you not seen Sam literally flying with fires that has the same color palette as Firefly?

I see people trying to argue with the other SHs referring to Sam as "he". Two things, either she meets with the Stellaron Hunters with the mech already or the game is simply hiding their gender.

Firefly also has an accessory that lets her transform into Sam.

Dialogue leaks also confirms Firefly being Sam or Sam being Firefly.

After reading the entire story 1st part of this story i can say that the story is pretty much like a murder mystery at this point

I noticed that something is wrong about death of firefly.
Sparkle had an entire CUTSCENE talking about how Firefly is not who we think she is. a few moments later she fucking dies. . . Are you serious? No fucking way bro, she's GOTTA be Sam or either way all this yapping Sparkle did was absolutely POINTLESS and didnt matter at all in the story. They might've as well didnt add firefly at all. Firefly can officially become they most useless and not needed character in the story unless her death was faked. Think about this, she appeared, befriended us like everybody do, and died. When she died after a brief second of sadness I felt nothing but dissapointment of how dumb all this shit was. Ill repeat, there's no fucking way she died

If you look, Acheron still hasnt unsheathed her sword during the fight. Cant wait to learn more about her!

New major questions to the game: What the ** is sam doing. Why ignore everyone and try to take the trailblazer? and why did that woman(i forgot her name ;-;) died in there? This will be unknown for prob a while :0

One thing I’ve noticed is that Firefly never appears outside the Dreamscape. Since we know she is Sam and she mentioned how she “doesn’t feel like herself in real life” and is “slowly fading away”, could it be possible that she can only be Firefly in dreams, while in reality she’s bound to be one with Sam no matter what? Like, only the mecha actually exists; or, if the girl is a concrete entity, too, she can’t leave the armoured suit. It would also explain why we don’t have her number.

HSR VA is really hit or miss for me. Some language are better than others like Sampo japanese VA while chinese VA like Jing Yuan are better. Here Sam english VA is clearly better than other language, Sam japanese VA doesn't suit him at all and sounds like generic isekai MC.
