Superb double whammy: The initial still was absolutely superb - then followed by the absolutely superb moving footage. The white-balance in that first scene was perfect winter-hard.

Another great video Nige, I was out to see it going past Gretna which has now been spoilt by the dreaded green fence. Really working hard with 4 on the hook.

I’ve seen that loco last weekend and it was coupled to 44871 for a tour to Lancaster which I saw them at stoke works

I see WCRC have, after all, found that they DO have enough central door lock fitted coaches to run the Jacobite. Seem to be in a bit of a hurry to get another two CDL fitted coaches up to Fort William (only looks like 2 in the consist)..... Must have scrabbled around Carnforth to find these two... NIce video though!

Just another 'Black Un' - and simply the best. A lovely, steady regular rhythm... a nice easy load, I'd imagine the crew were having a leisurely trip.
