ОтветитьAdding in corn on the cob n sliced chayote adds in extra sweetness.Leftover soup makes a good stock for meesuah.
ОтветитьAnother great video. Thanks so much!
ОтветитьGuys, please never wash your chicken unless it dropped on the floor or is contaminated with soap or other harmful chemical. If you do wash your poultry, do it as carefully making sure that the water does not splash after hitting the chicken as salmonella (a bacteria that can be found in raw chicken) could contaminate your sink, clean plates, or other hazardous areas.
ОтветитьIf you use the instant chicken stock to make the soup, the taste wouldn't be as "natural" as you described. 😅
ОтветитьDoes seasoning before or after the soup is done make a difference?
ОтветитьThank you Roland. Really good
ОтветитьLooks bland. Missing tomatoes.
ОтветитьSo easy! Thank you!
ОтветитьAlways had this almost everyday at home, but now that I've moved out on my own, I finally need to learn how to cook it on my own!

Can beef be used instead of pork? If so, do they have to be boiled for 10 mins too like the pork?
ОтветитьWhy there’s no tomatoes?
ОтветитьMillion thanks 😍
ОтветитьAdd nutmeg, celery, scallion will give more flavour.
ОтветитьIn Philippines we call that nilaga hehehe
ОтветитьI worked at a Chinese restaurant for like 2 years and my bosses parents were the cooks and man I had some good authentic Chinese food and this was one of the soups on the menu I would always get it with less pork and more carrots and extra broth with a bowl of white rice. I’m glad I came across this because I would love to try and make it myself .
ОтветитьWhat type of potatoes are recommended for soup?
ОтветитьThe previous video I watched added tomato in this soup. Would you recommend it?
ОтветитьFortunately for me, chicken stock plus corns, plus potatoes carrots both unskinned but washed provided two days stock of soup for the summer winter of Melbourne s chilly December. Oh so nice to drink soups ala winter styles. Sometimes I also try sweet vegetables like fennel and onions cauliflowers. Top ups are also just add ons to extend the broth serves another day or two. Happy as abc indeed
ОтветитьI also won’t add corn cuz it’s overpowering. I would add peppercorns to give it an extra oomph! Now I’m going to ntuc to buy the ingredients hahaha!
ОтветитьShould I add in chicken stock cubes ?
Ответитьso simple,so basic....and looks soooo delicious!!! im going to make this tomorrow...THANK YOU SIR....

ОтветитьYes this recipe is an old tradition. I am from Indonesia and we cook this soup as well. But we add spring onion and it will smell and taste nicer 😊🙏
ОтветитьAfter blanching the bones for so long and throwing away the sweetness of the soup, I think the ribs look kinda dried up. Wonder if the soup is still as sweet. Otherwise this is a yummy meal
ОтветитьDo I have to drain and wash part when using chicken?
Ответитьthe easiest and delicious soup
ОтветитьYou missing something sir? (Sweet corn) 🌽 hehehe
Ответитьhi ronald, since u have blanched the pork ribs so thoroughly at the beginning and threw away the water, wouldn't all the flavour of the pork be in the water thrown away? So how could the reboiled pork and the soup be tasty? thanks in advance.
Ответить'If you're Muslim exclude the rice wine in your PORK dish.'
