Also those who try and warn people against following and gifting some very problematic people tiktok will take those peopke down wail letting those problematic people carry on as they are, and also there are so many bigger tiktokers who lost their accounts to hackers and tiktok isnt doing anything to help those tiktokers its just ridiculous. I suggest sticking to apps that pay you for you views and likes. If bytedance makes more popular apps that dont pay its content creators, influencers will have to work regular jobs. Personally i would like influencers to keep getting rich off of my views because i have the potential to become one of those influencers. That and more influencers that are ordinary people means redistribution of wealth. Whos more likely to give af about people, someone from a rich family or someone from a poor family?

So what i understand is tiktok is a magic mirror that shows us who we are. it learns so much about us so fast that it can tell us who we are by ournpreference. Hmmmm. Psychology tool? Somebody is going to make loads of money off of that.

I’ve learned so much from tiktok but I’ve found the downside to it is that it is extremely addictive and has a lot of people spreading bad advice on it.

I've never found the need to use TikTok (despite not being immune to addiction; I've definitely become addicted to your videos) but the other things that Bytedance seems to be doing do sound interesting.

The whole app is a trap. The fact that you have so many videos available and you can easily switch from one to another makes the app so popular. The mind is constantly searching for those sensations that you can find through billions of videos. And so 3 hours passed without you realizing it. It's like a drug...

I hate how this channel tries to paint the company's rise as some sort of cinderella story. They're a fraudulent company who reappropriated a great idea.
