I just finished season 2...

When I saw this in the show, I knew this was something special

Shadow kings verse translates to: No one Comprehends his pain, Feels this feeling , like me, and i blame you, No one controls themselves like this ,his anger, his pain,MY pain my fear, Cannot be revealed ( this show was a absolute masterpiece and I'm am very saddened that it is over.

What's great is that both Farouk and David have a point here.
They've both been cursed, or blessed, with ungodly, terrifying powers. And no knows what's it's like. Xavier condenmed Farouk, who hated his son for it, and for a long time they both lived in hell.

Farouk had been prisoner of the monks for ages ....
David been terrified his whole life

They both waited for a vengeance that's never free ...
