There are just so many insane mods. that at this point I'm spending more time modding the game than playing it.

While it's technically cheating since the mods in question aren't on Nexus, but on the mod author's patreon (they're free don't worry), Fuse00's armor mods are arguably some of the best this year, particularly their fairly recent Kitsune Hunter Armor mod.

Would you mind making a guide on how to ensure long-term stability for a (heavily) modded playthrough? I am not a very experience modder and for the second time now I've had to call off a 30+ hour playthrough because the game crashes whenever I load a save. Specifically I'd like to know about the following:
- What bug fixes, engine fixes, performance increases etc. to install, (and if there are any to avoid)
- How to vet mods for stability (by now I've learned I probably shouldn't install mods that had their last update 8 years ago)
- How to go about installing or updating mods mid-playthrough
- How to create a backup of a mod setup
- How to diagnose crashes

I haven't really been able to find a guide that comprehensively covers these points.

It never ceases to amaze me how this game's modding community has gone well beyond modding and have taken Skyrim apart and rebuilt it from the ground up. The game we play today is no longer Bethesda's Skyrim, this is the modding community's Skyrim, and it's an entirely new game.

Woah . Skyclimb ! . just before watching this i was trying to do some parkour in winterhold . i wanted to get on the gate arch (probably from some kinda mod) i succeeded after about 30 minutes . then i watched this video straight after . suddenly climbing things is fun . mind blown 🤯

this video inspired me to swap from fnis to nemesis for skyclimb lol. shoutout to Chooey's step by step nemesis + vortex installation guide.

Skyclimb feels like a vanilla feature, its seamless and feels like it should have always been in the game. I mostly find myself hopping over fences as I run around skyrim lol

These new mods are truly groundbreaking. With wigfrids/gurthrums new tree mods, to jpsteels new quest and grass mods, sirenroot, etc staples in my Lo.

I wish Redshift (or you if Redshift reads this) would do a modded playthrough, show off their list and just give us some cool commentary.

You show us how cool your game is and what you use, so why not give us an extended cut? Plus it would give you an excuse to play through the game and its quest mods again lol

Edge UI has to be the best UI mod of the entirety of this game's existence. It makes the UI feel and look like it was made in 2023. I highly recommend trying it and also check out Lamas's Tiny Hud with Edge UI reskin if you want a Dark Souls-esk approach to UI.

I'm honestly surprised how popular Rudy ENB still is.
Because it does look good in interiors, foggy weather etc etc but I find it very underwhelming during sunny weather. It just looks really dark and .... flat? Don't know how to describe it better than that. Cabbage ENB is the shit in my opinion right now.

Lawless truly revolutionary to me compared to Obis. Combined with many other addons to lawless to enhance forsworn, silver hands, etc. and with Skyrim conquering dungeons/places mods. It creates realism of dragonborn is the one that can save Skyrim. And if you add fashion of banditry, all of them look so uniques.

sky climb and the paraglider mod together has completely changed Skyrim and how I approach gameplay. I cannot play without them now. Especially for playthroughs where I disable fast travel.
