How to Use select2

Hi..
Need your assistance...
I have set Minimumlengthlimit as 1.
When someone searches it makes an ajax call and shows the data..
But what i want is when I open the dropdown first time, I want to show my list saved in variable, now its asking me to type 1 character which is my Minimum limit...
