This is short but by far the best video explaining this that I've seen, for instance, I've always wondered to myself how we can type the URL into the browser and get the response back but when we query the same URL, we get errors, this is the first video I've seen explaining this.

Thanks for the tip of making an Ajax call to our own server, even if it's not ideal it's good to know this workaround (some third parties do not want to hear anything about the response headers they are not sending)
