I really enjoyed the video, wish it had showed more of the trail and riding.
Basically all you did show was interviewing people.
If you want people to join and participate you need to show more of the trail. JMHO

PSA DONT MAKE Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Oregon or New Mexico your first off road trip do a state park or something first and get confidence They are not very easy not very hard ether but you definitely need to know what your doing and how to self recover

Terrific films! Makes me want to fly to US and spend a year on those amazing routes!
With all the experience you have now, do you agree that "less weight equals more trail"? Seeing your films gives me a sense that a smaller bike is better than those huge GSs for the BDR routes and trail routes in general.

Very nice, not very back country. Too much asphalt for my taste. 👍

I live in the Midwest, southeast of Lake Michigan. Of the Honda dealers in my region not a single dealer in my area stocked a single 300, H or rally version! I am picking up my KTM 2023 390 adventure next week, they had three with no markup. I have ridden a Honda XR 650 L and earlier a Yamaha IT 465! I am older and feeble but looking forward to going anywhere, slowly and comfortably!

The opening “prayer” scene was sophomoric and offensive. Don’t mock what is serious to many people. It was shameful.

I just found out the MA BDR was a thing a few weeks ago. Rode the TAT last year and knew that BDR's were all over the West (ran into more BDR riders than TAT riders in SD, WY and ID) but was only aware of the NE BDR out our way (planning to ride it this year). Was very cool to find out the Northern End of the MA BDR is nearly in my backyard (I work 10 minutes away, live a bit further than that). I've already been on a lot of the route in Northern PA but would have a lot of new roads as it goes farther south.

Correction on the Antietam battle comment. The battle took place on Sept. 17th 1962. In the one day battle (not two) the total number of deaths on both sides combined was 3,675 killed. The total numbered of wounded on both sides combined was 17,301wounded. As for the number of death and wounded in Vietnam. From November, 1st 1955 to April 6th 1975 there were 58,281 Killed and 303,644 wounded that required Hospital care and 150,341 the didn't require hospital care. So to say that more men were killed at Antietam than in Vietnam. Well. Sorry. That just isn't true. But, what is true. Up until the battle of Franklin Tennessee, Antietam was the Bloodies one day battle during the Civil War according to History books but Again. You won't read this in a History book so here is a FACT!! At Franklin (AKA) the Picketts charge of the West, on November 30th 1864 in only five hours of battle THAT'S RIGHT! Five hours of battle. There were 6,152 Confederates killed ( including six Generals) and 3,800 wounded. On the intrenched side hiding behind breastworks the Unions total was 189 killed and 1,033 wounded in five hours. That's why it isn't in the History books and all you hear about is Gettysburg and Antietam and not about Franklin Tennessee.

You were misinformed about the last private toll bridge there's one in Newell WV about an hour south of me and 10 minutes from the Ohio state line. I used to travel it for work at a nearby powerplant and at that time you could by 10 tickets for I believe $5.00. I love what you guys said about being respectful of the locals, it truly goes a long ways toward building strong relationships and keeping these trails open. Anyone that finds the MABDR interesting should consider checking out the Hatfield/McCoy trail system in West Virginia as well.

This is great.
But, there is far better adventure riding on the east coast farther south.
Go from Chattanooga east hrough the Smokey’s and through north ga,North Carolina to Virginia where this one started.
It’s far better than this. I promise

Thanks for sharing this ride. I grew up in western Pa. But have been living in Utah for almost 30 years. I lived in Virginia and spent a lot of time in West Virginia before I moved west. The Appalachian and Shenendehowa mountains truely is some of the best riding in the country. After seeing this I really want to haul my GSA back east and spend a couple of weeks doing this route and seeing old friends that still live there!
