21 years ago this games felt exactly as impressive as it looks now. I was 14yo. Now 35. Wow.

Complete 1st Mafia maybe 20 times. This. Is. Another reason to complete it another 10 :D. But i would not say Mafia 1 wad best. Mafia 2 was also very impressive in the beginning. And fewer big missions.

It's strange, I never remembered Ralphie's stutter being so bad. I actually barely even remember him stuttering. Maybe because I played the game without captions and reading the stutter makes it worse?

Great gameplay

I like how in the remake they hinted at Tommy having the potential of one day taking over the family, he was the most suitable when you think about it, as Frank mentioned to him. I liked the remake, it filled in the blanks story-wise and made it better, I wish they added a few more cutscenes/missions though, maybe something like Salieri sending Tommy and the guys to Empire Bay to assist Frank Vinci in the Vinci-Moretti War, that would have been cool. Or perhaps a cutscene showing when Tommy actually got "made". I think it would have been more realistic if Tommy didn't start-off working directly for Salieri but had to work with Paulie and Sam a few times first and then report to a capo for a couple of missions before meeting Salieri himself, a bit more like Mafia 2... but then again, this is supposed to be respecting the original so I guess they can't change it too much
