Hi Ferdy good day I am having problems installing local after configuration I still at where I want to connect to my server it is only telling me 502 bad gateway error I clean all couch install xampp and it still tell me the same thing I don't know what to do please can u help me please

never update local before backup your previous websites! otherwise your previous web will be broken!!

Thanks, great video. When sending the client a link to preview the site, the images show as black boxes. I can't find a way to solve this issue. I can see them all on my computer, but the client sees black boxes. Any ideas on how to fix this? The URL to the image uses the local site, but the URL for LOCAL is the random URL they give us for preview.

Silly question.
Does the username and password combo always have to be “root”,”root”?

When purchasing a theme and uploading it onto your local website to edit and work on, does it allow you to migrate that website to another live website?

After installing LocalWP on my Mac (and it works) my existing Mac Webserver (apache, php, mysql) that I normaly use won't work anymore.
When I try to access my existing webpages made with the Mac Webserver, I get the message "Site not found - The site you requested does not have an associated route in Local" as if it looks for LocalWP or something even when I have shut down LocalWP. I also try restart my Mac (High Sierra)..
So now I can't access any of my many webpages made with the Mac Webserver anymore :(
Hope someone can help!

Hi Ferdy, I have installed and make multiple websites in local+wp on my external disk, sofar so good. But when I move to an other computer and launch the disk elsewhere it does not show (after login) my websites.

Can XAMPP and LOCAL be installed on the same workstation and work correctly?

Ferdy the Local live link does not work as listed in the program features. I typed it in my cellphone as written says a 404 error. Tried it in Chrome browser and got the same thing.

Just installed Local by Flywheel last night. Set up a custom install running php 8, mysql 8, apache 2, WordPress 5.9
Running Windows 10 X64 bit. Works well.
I am new to WordPress so this is a life saver compared to shared hosting. Thank you for the video.
