ares is far better when it comes to spray, especially when ads, because it has this weird thing where it actually becomes more accurate after about 8 shots or so. when combined with wallbang, its a more even fight than it looks

Also when you shoot spectre from around 30-40m it is a lot less accurate than the ares and with the spectre you have to tap whilst ares is able to just spray and still be fairly accurate as long as you know the recoil pattern.

Stinger

Ares are strong when u against multiple people since spray transfer for Ares are easier and more accurate than the Spectre . Ares have highier penetration than a Spectre. All this points are situational to places and spots

i actually prefer ares' recoil pattern way more, its a *constant*, but fast-climbing LINE, it only goes up and to the side quite predictably andits possible to follow and make it a laser

meanwhile spectre even standing still goes up, upright, upleft, up, down, up, down, upleft, upright, downleft, right, right, left, upleft, downright, left

you know? its a smaller area, yeah, but its just very random

What most people don't understand about the ares is that if you're crouching and ads'ing then the recoil pattern is really easy to control, I've had numerous situations where i would just beam people on 70 or so meters with the ares when they were trying to kill me with a vandal/Phantom spray, I mainly buy ares for that reason even if i have enough money for something different, and I'm still able to get a nice 1.5/2 KD most of the time with it (gold lobbies)

The recoil pattern of the ares is actually much more better than the spectre, because if you look closely, the ares can deal 1 leg shot, 1 body shot and 1 head shot without ADS.

imo the specter has ares beat on every map except ascent. basically every major wall can be pierced by the ares, which can just blast right through it like its nothing. there is hardly any cover anywhere on ascent that is safe from the ares' wall pen

Ares all the way. Spectre let me down like 100 times already. Why? I got for the headshot. I get it. (I might get 2) and the opponent still doesnt die. Meanwhile, ares is innacurate for the first half a second, after which it becomes incredibly accurate if you can track. Like a lazer. While the spectre starts spraying everywhere.

ADS with a Spectre is actually insane. The 1st shot spread is the same as a Vandal/Sheriff so bursting 2~3 bullets and strafing can get you a kill very conisistently. Also run n gunning with a spectre is way better than doing it with an ares so that's an added bonus. And imo the ares is just too bulky compared to the spectre.

Answer is spectre (use util to get closer to enemies and melt them)
