When I command it to generate the render, it comes out with a 'default' camera even though I've added the camera that I edited. Can someone help me??

Yes but if you have updated the sketchup file and want to reimport, Unreal deletes all textures and you gotta start aaaall over again...

This is importing from 3Dmax to UE.
There is no importing from sketchup to UE, which would be so much easier to work with 😂

Can anyone please point me in the right direction? I am an intermediate SketchUp user and a beginner in Unreal Engine 5 user. My goal is to create things in SketchUp, such as a house or s small baseball stadium, then import it to UE 5, just like in this video, so that I can us UE 5 rendering and props, but ultimately, I want to see my creations in VR. I'm willing to learn new things, but with the expertise of the people here, maybe they can give me some pointers to alleviate the process. Thank you.

I'll try this since when i export models from sketchup as OBJs or FBXs the mesh isn't following the actual model i can see. My spheres aren't rolling properly because they have invisible mesh poking out for exemple.
edit: it doesn't support sketchup 2023 yet so i'll wait and see if they update it soon.

So much technology to catch up on. In a world of micro transactions and software lease payments all these free to use programs are awesome and incredibly powerful now. Imagination is the limit ...but now theres also a plethora of ai programs to help with ideas to get over a mental block. What a world.

Is there any way to sync your model?
So for example you imported the model into unreal engine and then did some changes in sketchup

A quick question, would you say it's easier and able to reach similar quality for just using enscape/all other rendering plugins (for both capturing 1 single frame & making a walkthrough) than exporting to unreal engine to do all this? (I know there are a bunch of benefits for exporting to unreal but I'm not counting those)

This was super exciting! I've been enjoying your superb SketchUp content for a while now, but I want to tour my models in VR with my Oculus Quest 2, and the only app I've found (SentioVR) costs $80/month, way too much for it's limited features.

This seems like a solution, and I already bought a gaming PC for this reason.

Would love if you did a video on using the OQ2 for VR preview mode!

hi justin quick question, if you have free time
can you do video- re update the 3dmodel from SketchUp.

for example: I have project I already did the materials, camera scene, etc. and the client ask me to change the size of wall or major changes in 1 area. is there any best way and easy to re update the model, without re editing the materials and camera scene again?

Thank you.
