My sims 4 on ps4 is so very slow. When I edit my sims, the mouse is very slow to move.

My problem is that I don't have a powerful computer... I don't want to go through the hassle of moving the playing games to a hard drive so I put everything else than my Sims on a hard drive yet it still so slow it's so annoying I literally clean out cache and local thumb thingy everytime I play... do you have any more tips for me?

My game has been having issues with larger houses to be honest and even though i really want all the major skill building on one lot maybe it is just not feasible to expect as it is just waaaay toouch stuff. Oh well maybe i will just get a frw things and leave out large skill building items and maybe just build lots for those?

Wicked whims is what made my s4 so slow so I took it out. It’s ok again now. That mod is a real lag inducer.

So how about if your using play station 5 or Xbox, what could we do there,

My game is super laggy- I took out most mods (I only have slice of life) all cc, lowest settings, I have 77x GB left of storage out of 99x and the driver is up to date. What can I do haha? It’s really frustrating.

Ik i’m late but my laptop is has VERY BIG space but for some reason it’s still lagging idk why??

Ive tried a lot in general my pc is an all in one so its not the best i deleted my sims cache but it made my game worse i have cc but none is broken im pretty sure. In build mode its perfectly fine not that laggy but in live mode its reqlly laggy when i want to do an action it takes a sec to load up and yeah when i move around it just lags also i have 770 gb free out of 990 gb on disc c also i cant find origin in files at all to delete the cache

My laptop has like 196 unnecessary files 😔

also if your pc is slow, try indexing files, this index points
known files path and makes searching specific files in your pc be faster.

actually it is not the act of deleting files that helps but freeing up space on the disk to rebuild the partition to be closer to each other( HHD have a disk and a spindle reading data off of it and the more the data is all over the drive the more this spindle has to move around to read the data)
in other word, if you have a HDD, you should defrag it. defrag usually run itself automatically. on ssd triming also help.

-island living
-get together
-famous stuff
-patio stuff
-outdoor living
-strangerville
I always got fps stuttering when i turn my game to speed 3 especially while move or rotate camera. My graphic setting already low.
My laptop spec
Core i3 7020u
Ram 8 GB
Nvidia GeForce MX 230.

Everything I tried just fails. I don’t even want to try to play the sims anymore when my sims freeze every minute and don’t do the actions they are told only until like five minutes later. I give up on the sims. I really enjoyed the game but at this point it just gets frustrating.

With 350 gb of free space and the 64x64 lots are laggyand there’s a really long pause after getting out of buy mode all the time. So annoying!

OMG I HAD 7GB OF TEMP FILES-

my mac, my game and me are on a whole other planet. I cant update my mac since its old and by consequence i have the classic edition of the sims 4. A few days ago my game completely broke because of some mod (couldnt use fridge, couldnt use inventory, building mode didnt work, my men sims had no neck and torso and i could not exit building mod so i had to shut down my mac)

so i removed my mods and it worked fine so i decided to delete all my ccs and keep a few and download new ones and i redownloaded the game too. (kept my families etc) BUT even before the issue im gonna talk about, origin keeps crashing when i wanna update or repair my game (i think its because of my mac)


basically whenever i try to hop in to play it says the sims 4 unexpectedly quit or something and i cant fix it. I try repairing my game but origin crash. I redownloaded the game but still doesnt work. So I guess my mac really is too old for that and im glad im not the only experiencing slow gameplay and overall bad stuff.

what's a good ssd brand for a reasonable price?

Idk if this is a lag issue or not but my sims game loads up fine with very minimal lag even with mods and cc but when i open cas im stuck on a white screen. I've tried loading up cas without mods and it works fine and ive played a household ive already made WITH the cc and that works fine as well the cas is my only issue. ive literally tried everything (repairing my game, redownloading, etc.) and idk what to do
