How is paint really made? Is it really made from colored rocks crushed up and boiled into paint?
ОтветитьNo matter how much quality today's drawings seem to have, they don't even come close to this masterpiece. 🤍💜🤍
ОтветитьTake that, Winter!
ОтветитьNeeded this
ОтветитьMan the pumps and haul the slack! Blast that blowing buzzard back! Time for spring I say!
ОтветитьThat wind is a bad guy in this cartoon❤❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьGotta come back on shrooms
ОтветитьMy dad had a whole bunch of old cartoons this one I found boo on the moon Casper the friendly ghost and valcano Superman all tonight
ОтветитьThe wind wasn't no joke oooohhhh oooohhhh
ОтветитьReal animation like this is art
ОтветитьI seem to recall that this was an early piece animated by Bill Hanna (yes, that Bill Hanna) though back in those days, Harman and Ising would never allow such credit for their product for reasons that I won't go into here. Sad that it was felt necessary to chop the top and bottom of the animation here to get it to fit in 16:9 format where it was originally filmed in Academy ratio, much as everything was back then, but still a nice animation.
ОтветитьFINALMENTE!!! DEPOIS DE ANOS ACHEI ISSO DE NOVO
ОтветитьFinally found this cartoon 🤗 I’m 39 and remember watching this all the time when I was little. Till this day I sing this every time spring arrives 🤣
ОтветитьI told my teacher that this is how spring is made she said I was wrong
ОтветитьGood old times, would my Grandfather say!
ОтветитьWhile he co directed this short, this was the directorial debut for William Hanna (of Hanna Barbara fame) a few years later he and Barbara would co create Tom and Jerry before opening their own studio. Depending on the source 2 to 4 people co directed this short. Lee Blair, Hugh Harman and Paul Fennell. With Fennell and Hanna being confirmed by Wikipedia while the other 2 along with Hanna and Fennell by IMDB.
ОтветитьI have been looking for this cartoon. Thank you so much.
There is another one about a string and a giant I would love to see. It’s from this maker of cartoons.
By chance does anyone remember a Bozo the Clown cartoon with some sort of train related plot, and the last line of the episode is Bozo talking about Pistachio nut ice cream and he and the little boy burst into laughter? I just remember this one scene and I can’t find that episode or any evidence of it ever existing. I’ve tried asking on Reddit. Asking here because this springtime cartoon was another one I have been looking for for over 20 years.
ОтветитьI’ve been trying to find this for so long!😭
ОтветитьPensé que lo había soñado ...este dibujo lo vi cuando era niño
ОтветитьI was born in 2005 and I had a dvd with this😭but I don’t remember the name
Ответитьi had this on VHS with 2 other classic cartoons.
Casper The Friendly Ghost, Cobweb Hotel.
memories.
I still love this, and I'm from 1986. The truly greats are timeless and should never be lost. We are totally at this point with our spring weather where I live in Southern Michigan. My peach blooms got all burnt up. Sleet today!
ОтветитьIt's been too long ❤❤🎉🎉🎉
ОтветитьI was lucky when my kids were toddler twins and this was on a mix tape on vhs. It blew me away how beautiful it was and the whole thing was awesome to me. So I'd been looking for it. Found it about 10 years ago and watch it every year when spring is due. The poor elves gotta change there clock daylight savings. We got a blizzard last Saturday on April 1
ОтветитьI actually remember seeing this as a kid, when it aired on cartoon network
ОтветитьNostalgia
ОтветитьTIME FOR SPRING I SAY!!!🌞🌺🌿🌼🌿
ОтветитьIt is predicted to get down to 24 degrees tomorrow morning on the first day of Spring where I live, a testament to the power of Old Man Winter, as He battles it out for supremacy with Spring, just like in the cartoon.
ОтветитьComo detestaba está comiquita. El viento canta demasiado tiempo y en inglés. Imagínate eso cuando tienes 5 años y solo hablas español.
ОтветитьI quote "time for Spring I say" every Spring. And I love the gnomes' technology!
ОтветитьEvertime i think about spring an winter i think of this cartoon an im 41 so old things dont get old
Ответитьi don’t know if anyone knows what i’m talking about but i remember watching this cartoon on a cd that had a bunch of other cartoons. It had stuff like little lulu and popeye and a yankee doodle song. The cover of the cd was a girl with a sheep and i’ve been trying to find it but no luck🙁 if anyone remembers the name of the cd can you please reply
ОтветитьI search this out every now and then, I was in awe and have remembered it the 50ish TV watching years.
ОтветитьSo Thankful for the flood of memories Thisssssssssssssss video stirs 😍
ОтветитьEvery spring I actually think about this cartoon. I imagine it going on in the background. So nice to finally find it again
ОтветитьY'all gon make me lose my mind, up in here, up in here!
ОтветитьGod I love this but I hate how I can't understand most of old man winter's dialogue. and I can't find a transcript online. Anyone know where I can find it?
ОтветитьI love how the one dude tries to wear pants, and ends up just running in his underwear like the rest by the end!!!
🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
I watched this so many times as a child, we had it in VHS
ОтветитьA core memory from my early childhood! I've been trying to find it for years!! This one and the one with raggedy Ann and the little blind girl.
ОтветитьI’ve been looking for this for over 20 years. Can’t believe I finally get to watch it again ❤
ОтветитьFreaking love this cartoon…saw it in the 1998’s. Freaking awesome animations.
ОтветитьOMG! Me and my Aunt's, about 30 years or so, ago. Found this cartoon,, for .99¢! We were like, Let's watch it? We laughed so hard, especially when the old man, first get out of bed, and his leg bend!! Lol😂 I've never, ever forgot this cartoon. Get you a bucket of Hot Wings, Krispy Kreme, Tacos and lastly, wine coolers Lol You'll laugh your head off. Thanks for bringing me back, you'll ALWAYS remember a show, like this.
ОтветитьI saw this when I was a kid. And I'm a millennial! Hard to believe it's from 1936.
ОтветитьI had this video on vhs with couple other video like popeye and a spider running a bait hotel that i dont remember the name ! I was looking for thos dwarf for more then 30 years ! Thank you so much for uploading this!
ОтветитьAside from being all male, a very diverse group of gnomes or whatever they are. Surprising considering the time this was made, most cartoons from this era weren't so progressive.
