Why do the maps update take a FULL DAY to install? Scandalous…

Hello there , today I bought tomtom Discover and I tried to connect to wifi it was connected but shows no internet. Any help?

What a completely useless system. The sat nav informs me that 6 updates are available but the procedure does not work. Is this Tomtom's means to persuade me to buy a replacement? If so I will buy one from another manufacturer.

My tomtom gps don't have wifi, "Mydrive Connect" does not install well on my PC. I can't update my maps, I need "Mydrive Connect" for my tablet android.

Tried tapping my menu button but it seems froze. Anyone know what my have caused this and how to fix it?

mine is updated, yet in mydrive it dont work because it still asks for updates even though it is updated, also if need help it says support guess what?? yep there is no support at all, cant even call them its a robot only, if you try and explain the system aint working then guess what? yep tough shit nothing works TomTom for £300 to £500 is a pile of shit makes millions dont care about anyone this type of company should be illegal and closed down, then they may start listening. so please all protest.

Hello everyone, I have a tomtom go professional 520, with wifi and lifetime map updates. But the maps are not updated, having maps for 24 months does not show the update icon as it is in the video from tomtom. I'm waiting for someone to help me. Thacks

I find it better to use a Computer rather than Wi-Fi..My Map download and other improvements only took about 15 Minutes.

Footnote: Updates take many many hours to complete. Not because the files are massive but because Tomtom.

Doesn't work for me. The device never asks me for a wifi password, It just says 'connected'.

I'm needing truckers routes to be put on my small little GPS Tomtom. Can I add that to it without having to buy an entire new GPS Unit???

My device does not seem to have WiFi, a GO 60.
