Wow! That was a really good video! Thank you for putting this together. I really appreciated the second half. When I first started, I had no clue what any of those pests looked like. This would have been huge my first 2-3 years of reefing!

As an avid gardener I was so shocked to learn people recommend using bayer to dip corals! That stuff is so SO toxic! And then you do what with it afterwards - pour it down the drain!?! Terrible. Used solution should be bottled up and taken to the specialized Household hazardous waste disposal. Huge hassle.

What kind of tubs did you guys get to do this?

Had a bottle of dip, but haven't ttird it yet. Think it would help a closed toadstool with algae growing on it. Been trying to force a shed for a few days now with no luck. Also, that red eye pectinia is gorgeous.

Than, I have a Ultra Maxi-Mini that fail to stick to anything. It seems the foot has loss the ability to stick and it keep floating around the sand bed while the one next to it stick just fine. Do you recommend any solution or dipping? The anemone looks healthy and is eating just fine. Just won't stick to anything.

i don’t even own any clams but yet i’m aware that clams shouldn’t be dipped. they’re big time filter feeders. so any element or chemical it may be exposed to can be the reason for its death

what kind of planaria were those on the hammer coral? are they harmful or just unwanted hitchhiker?

I was using on euphyllias. It looks that it is too harsh for them. In few second coral is completly covered by slime, super steessed. I was try few times, every time the same. I was using dosage from box.
