This is AWESOME! When it comes to games, i really miss the direct approach SORTA thing how PS2 games were made. I wish we had a niche between indie & triple AAA games to fill this void. Just because certain things have advanced & huge corps have insane $, shouldn't mean we can't get games that mirror the PS2 era & other older game generation designs. Games that get right to the point, focus on doing what they do really well because they aren't trying to create huge open worlds. I'd love to see the creative projects that could be made today that use inspiration from previous game generations. Anytime i say this someone just comments "well we have indie games" but that's besides the point. I wish the gaming community as a whole incorporated these types of games that are inspired by previous generations designs. They shouldn't take as long to make, not cost so much $, easier to put focused passion into a smaller focused project, especially with today's technological capabilities. Previous games should still inspire some games no matter how far into the future we go. We shouldn't leave those unique game designs in the past. We should incorporate them as we go.
