Excellent car
ОтветитьI look forward to seeing a review of the late 2022 refresh model. The new one looks SO much better.
ОтветитьVery ugly car
Ответить"Front wheel modest reserve of traction". That was what I first noticed when test driving it today. But they have such a good leasing deal for private persons I think I get it anyway. Seats are kinda shitty. No leg support. I drive an VW Arteon diesel 240HP and when getting in to my car it was a comfort relief. However it feels like a dinosaur when driving right after an electric car. I was surprised how quick the MG was for being a kinda middle class cheap EV. Its a car. It is not fun. But if you don't need a show off car and need something to take you from a to b with a few longer trips that forces you to charge while still traveling. Well then this is an option for a lot of people. Me included who doesn't drive that much and therefore is not in need for perfect comfort like the Arteon. For me i'd like a smaller car this cheap from MG. I don't like the SUV. That was even more mushy to drive.
ОтветитьPerhaps u should have made reference to the fact that over 5 hrs of driving , it averaged 2.8mls / kw.........
Somehow I doubt that you had it up over 90mph for 5 hrs.....so that figure is not going to provide over 250 mls @ 60 x 2.8....leaving less than 20 mls to find a working charger gives a usable range 100 miles less.........particularly when the average is shown at just c 26mph..!!!
The Zoe can average over well over 5mls/kw at that sort of average speed....Probably approaching twice the efficiency - presumably thats where the extra couple of thousand £ goes?
I Really want the MG5 to have 240+ usable range, but it just cant, when reports of c 3mls/kw are on the web reports
Does it have an app yet? I know MG launched the iSmart App but not sure if its available in the UK and for the MG5. After having on a few occasions the BlueLink app on my Ioniq tell me when a public charger has stopped charging a few minutes after I've gone into the services, I'd not want to be without. Also is the Lane Keep Assist one that just pings you from left or right or is it one that autosteers to keep you in the centre of the lane?
ОтветитьRe-upload? I swear I've watched this before.
ОтветитьIf it only had a bit more stylish body, maybe different alloys, privacy glass, pan roof, I was given a test drive as part of presentation to my company, and honestly was surprised at how good it was love physical climate control dials, I drive a 330E hybrid 2020 as company car...and whilst I would not swap, but as a second car for our dogs and with petrol at £1.58 a litre it makes sense
ОтветитьIt's an ESTATE car. So, WHY WHY WHY is the Load Area not COMPLETELY 'FLAT' with the rear seats Folded Down ? ... That is the WHOLE POINT of an Estate Car ! ! ! That's a Deal Breaker for me. Sorry MG ... NO SALE. ..
ОтветитьThe most impressive car reviews on YT.
ОтветитьHas any one thought what we are going to do with the millions of fossil fuel cars that will still be on the road after 2030. By the time many of these EV's are affordable second hand the 8 year manufacturer's battery warranty will have expired. The driving range after 8 years will have probably diminished by a third at a guess. What are going to do with the lithium ion batteries? Keep burying them.
ОтветитьMy main gripe with it is the boot lip surely it’s an estate so should be flat?
ОтветитьNext car of choice for London Uber drivers?
