Remember that it’s a combination of physical AND mental quickness that gives you the ‘edge’
One of the best ‘circuits’ I have ever come across that actually worked was the following.
From the start cone run 1st circuit at 75%.
At cone 2 to cone 10 is one step in between the cones.
Start ———*——*—-*—*—-*—end
Repeat coming back so now the cones are spaced shorter so the steps are still one step between on the way back sprint to start.
Repeat all x3 increasing the pace so that on the third circuit it’s flat out.
Start————*———*———*———*
————————*———*———*
Now sprint to first cone, push off left foot to the right cone, then push off right foot to next cone to the left and so on alternatively pushing off left and right foot.
Repeat x3
This builds up those muscles you may not improve by straight running.
There are 100s of ways to utilise the base design by incorporating a ball/balls.
You can have two teams competing against each other to see who can complete a circuit the fastest etc.

ОтветитьHey Mike, this video is brilliant and everything about this is helpful, I was gonna ask if you could make a video on a full weekly schedule, every day what to do e.g. Monday is gym session, individual session and speed session and Tuesday is something else, even with each different session like speed could you explain to us some drills to do or like drills for a technical session if that's the day for it, thank you so much 😃
