Ok, you think apple is gonna admit they designet the laptop wrong?? give me a break. Its the same sht with the phones, they had to be forced to adapt USB-C, forced.
Nowadays desing is, looks first and functionality last. And this is on the consumer because they buy products, that are sht and dont hold the corporations accountable, this is your fault people.
What app are you using on determining the cpu temperature
Ответитьwhy is the video showing 14 July 2014 as the day it was released? some of his other videos are also showing 2014 it only shows in the recommended tab
Ответитьman whats with the 144p quality
ОтветитьWell, mba's are mostly for students, and students tend to try new things occasionally, it wouldn't be too bad if apple included an active cooling system in there, even though there is no need for that to be active for, say, 90% of the time, it would still be great especially considering the price is $1200. Just saying!!
ОтветитьWould this cooling system be greatly affected by dust? It seems that those intake filter areas could easily be covered in dust in a few months time
ОтветитьEy what happened with the quality of the video😅
ОтветитьWhat about just cooling the outside of the chassis?
ОтветитьWhat happened to this video
ОтветитьWhy cant i change video quality?
ОтветитьAnyone else having quality issues? I'm locked out of quality settings on this video only. Feels like 2009 watching videos on 360p...
Ответитьput in on a rog ally
Ответитьhonestly paying that amount for a laptop with a non optimal cooling solution is mind blowing. Gj apple engineers.
Ответить144 p????
ОтветитьOnly I have 480p only?
ОтветитьThis is a bit redundant. It's like me saying that I can turn a car into a spaceship, and proceed to remove everything that makes the car function as a car. Kinda pointless guys. And I normally love it when you guys mod apple products, the difference is that normally you make apple products better... This is just stupid.
ОтветитьGood vid
ОтветитьHave you ever considered that you might have psychological issues?
Here's an idea, next try to buy a tractor and turn it into a tank. Then buy a microwave and try to turn it into an oven.
Don't buy an oven and use it as an oven... that would make no sense... far more sensible will be to buy an oven and turn it into an towel drier.
LOL. Great video! 😂
ОтветитьThat's the perfect cooling solution for thin laptops like macbook air. Hope apple implements it.
Ответитьworks on m1 as well?
Ответитьthats a realy good video, fun useless videos okeyyyy seen that done that, but this makes sense and is cool
Ответитьfunny how Apple is known for crazy RnD and having premium products that other brands look to copy, but then they just easily assume "ApPlE DuMb, I cOuLd HaVe DeSiGneD tHiS BeTteR" lmao
ОтветитьI don't imagine Apple adding this to the Air, but they might add it to the pro. The cooling solution is one of the only ways they can currently segment Apple Silicon.
ОтветитьI would like to see the air jets used on a steam deck.
ОтветитьNever happening. So move on, please.
ОтветитьThe question is: how much power did the cooling consume?
ОтветитьApple didn't do it because they want to sell more MacBook pros, this throttling is intentional. Sad but true
Ответить⛔ And that's also why I hate those crappy computers. I don't understand how people can choose to use that piece of shlt.. TRUE STORY. .
ОтветитьWhy do you even bother? Mac's are meant to be disposable. If youre not getting a new Mac every year then are you really a Mac user?
ОтветитьThis was a press event by Frore Systems that came up with the solution, completed working examples, and sent it out to the press to cover. But Linus's thumbnail and narrative is "Linus fixed it." The entire video is presented as if LTT came up with the solution themselves, and just sourced the parts from Frore. Even in the recovery of this channel after the controversy, the shameless self promotion knows no bounds. LTT effectively claimed the credit for Frore's achievement that came up with this solution, built it, and was foolish enough to ask LTT to cover it. Truly disappointed.
ОтветитьThe MBA M2 overheating problem is the exact reason why i think the M1 MacBook Air is still the best mac to buy right now
Ответить안녕하세요
ОтветитьPlease don’t give apple more ideas on how to up-charge more cheap parts. They’re still charging $200 for standard amounts of RAM.
ОтветитьOkay but... You guys have a machine shop AND an engineer. Why didn't you just take the bottom off the MacBook Air, and machine a new one with enough room to accommodate the coolers, small holes for inlets and possibly grooves to use the bottom plate as a cooler???
ОтветитьApple would be better off watching the video from PC World where they talk to someone from directly from the company who explains this in a way that LTT never could. That being properly and several months ago.
ОтветитьPlease do it on a galaxy book laptop.
ОтветитьDyson needs to put this into real fans!!!
Ответитьlove it, but was waiting to see how it would look if designed with it
ОтветитьNow that's a pretty advanced sales pitch
ОтветитьMy first thought is Apple will never do this because then the Pro will be pointless. But then, the higher-end Pros are untouched, so maybe they'll just knock out the entry level models entirely?
ОтветитьDude, this is not a DIY friendly approach. It is an extreme approach. Why are you even making a video about it? Anything is possible with almost any product, but it doesn’t mean it’s feasible and should be done.

ОтветитьThere’s gotta be a magnetic style external heat sink that attaches to the bottom cover and makes contact right around where the M2 processor is located to help draw heat away from it.
Ответить250$ upgrade?
ОтветитьPiezoelectrics are moving parts, no?
ОтветитьI've never had someone break my brain so badly trying to communicate a number to me only for it to turn out to be 0.4mm.
Ответить"rest of the copycat PC industry"
You have a very interesting interpretation of what "copycat" means. Frore initially made these for integration into PC components and decided to give it a go for use in cooling Mac Books as an aside... Apple will do what they always do, buy it while it's still relatively new and unknown and claim they invented it, or patent their own facsimile version and claim it was totally their idea. Apple consumers will then lap it up and pay big money for it because OMGAPPLE, meanwhile the rest of the industry will slowly catch up because PC buyers will wait for the technology to come down in price and prove it's reliability.
