Jackie Brown is one of my favorites. I saw that shit as a little kid and it traumatized me seeing Chris Tucker get clipped in the beginning.

Robert De Niro would have been an incredible Max.

And then De Niro produced one of the most iconic side roles in history of cinema.
He was fu...in... ridiculous in that movie.
Writing this and I can't stop my mind picturing it and giggling.

What i still don't grasp, is why Tarantino has only had Deniro in one movie and in a pretty small role and he pretty much had to beg Tarantino to include him lol, i mean that's Robert fuckin Deniro right there lol

De Niro playing Louis was a rare role when he stepped out of his typical type of character. De Niro played perfectly this one, which makes him a truly great actor

I absolutely love De Niro in Jackie Brown, and the part is really good for him too. I wish he had just a bit more screen time, and just maybe another segment to add to his character, because he did the part so well I wish to know more about the guy. Great movie.

Deniro was great at playing basically the same guy over and over. But his is the only film where he really stepped out of character and played someone other than the same guy

Max was the better part, and they both knew it.

Actually Jackie Brown is a great movie and Mr. Tarantino must be a great writer who also met the "more-than-just-right" people.

I think a lot of why people didn’t go for Jackie Brown was because it’s adapted from a novel and not totally from Quentin originally. But that’s what I love about it. It feels different from other Tarantino work. Also Sam Jackson’s greatest performance.

I enjoyed watching Robert De Niro in this movie. Most of the movies he has acted, he is mainly the alpha male and a top guy, however in this movie, he plays a brain dead buffoon ! Robert Forster was also fantastic as Max Cherry.
