Sorry buddy Sauron tormented the world for 3 ages not 2. The first under Morgoth , the second when the rings were made ,and the 3rd age when the ring was found again by bilbo. His destruction was the beginning of the 4th age.

Is their god like all God's and refuse to acknowledge the mistake they made in its creation? Why make those people suffer for three ages.? Don't come at me with destiny and fate. I like the first description of Sauron, short and simple, but very impressive, from the Silmarillion chapter 18, especially - "his dominion was torment". Also, in chapter 19, he speaks to Gorlim, speaks openly, with outright cynicism - "and thou shalt go to Eilinel, and be set free of my service". He admits that death is better than serving under him.

Later, when Sauron took the helm of Evil in Middle-earth, he probably was a bit more lenient towards his servants.
