+400HP RB20DET Engine Build!

Why didnt you touch anything in the bottom end? rings, pistons, bearings, wrist pins, rods. you did so much already for this motor- why make everything else super strong then leave the stock cast internals? you didnt even check the bearings for wear

What valve springs did you use ? Any links or part numbers on everything you used for the head ??

One thing about the roloc bristle disc (hedgehog) you're using: There is grit suspended in the plastic and there are three common colors. White for aluminum, yellow and green for iron. Green is 50 grit, yellow is 80 grit, and white is 120. You CAN take off too much material using green on aluminum. Also, I'd like to see more with what you're doing for the coolant passages underneath the intake and curious about no oil restrictor or head drain back modifications.

As someone who ran an rb20 for years in my s13, it’s nice to see the aftermarket support they’re getting now.

Rb20det is a stronger block compared to the rb25det.

I can't believe u guys went to this level and didn't do a piston rod cam combo with it. Still very cool.

Hi guys how much $ it cost to build a rb20det like that appart the turbo etc? And how much time did it takes? I'm getting my R32 this winter straight from japan and i will probably make similar engine build as this and for turbo I already got a brand new g25-660 .72ar IWG 🙂
