Very underrated scene
ОтветитьWhen I’m having a bad day I just replay this bit.
ОтветитьIf theres anyone you want to serve you a PHAT slice of humble pie, its Ted Lasso.
ОтветитьHey it’s King Uther!
ОтветитьThere are so many wonderful little details in this scene. Ted asks Mae what he needs to win (already knowing the answer, of course), which leads Rupert to laugh and arrogantly say "Good luck." Ted turns back towards the board, smiling, with a little shake of his head and a barely audible "hmm." Everyone thinks he's shaking his head at how impossible that is, but they're all still underestimating him. He's smiling and laughing at what he knows is going to happen, how happy he's about to make everyone, and how Rupert will learn a valuable lesson. And none of it is done with anger, but with love.
Ответитьthis sort of this doesn't go away...
Ответитьanyone notice the scoreboard says wanker😂
ОтветитьYou ever notice how Mae’s smile gets wider and wider with every dart
ОтветитьThis is incredible.
Ответитьi almost cried during this because i relate to it so much
ОтветитьThe fact he throws the first practice dart right handed shows he was walking Rupert down the garden path to learning a lesson :)
ОтветитьOne of the best scenes ever!!!!
ОтветитьWhat a fucking series... Hits right in the feelings every time
ОтветитьIt was such an obvious hustle from the very beginning Rupert is such a schmuck for falling for it so easily.
It's textbook, misrepresenting your skill a couple times before the bet you want is established, I've seen it in so many shows, although it's usually Pool.
I love this show and I love this amazing scene. It definitely hits a little bit differently knowing how his dad died but I am still amazed at how much emotion bill lawrence puts in his shows.
ОтветитьThis scene truly touched my heart, absolutely love this show <3
ОтветитьJust finished S3 a few days ago, and this is still by far my favorite moment of the entire show. Of course there are plenty of other noteworthy moments in the later seasons, but I always find myself come back to this one. SO much to learn from in that monologue.
ОтветитьBest scene ever!
ОтветитьThis was great because for whatever reason, I knew already that Jason is left handed so something twigged in my head when he threw the dart with his right hand, I knew it was gonna be good
ОтветитьThis might as well have been the entire series. It fell off a cliff after season one.
ОтветитьI’ve seen the entire 3 seasons. Some episodes way more than once. Yet this scene (so simple in its scope) makes me (a 68 year old man) cry every single time. Perhaps it hits too close to home. From as far back as I can remember, people including my family pushed me down and held me back. Never an encouraging word. Somehow I graduated college and started a career that served me until retirement. There’s still a part of me that aches to go back in time and tell all of them to … well you know.
ОтветитьIs it weird that this is my comfort video
ОтветитьThis scene was on TikTok. After watching this, I had to watch the series. Now one of my favorite shows. Amazing acting and writing!
ОтветитьAmazing speech and all....but Rupert actually did ask if Ted likes darts to which his answer was 'they're okay"
Given he goes on to say that he played every Sunday with his dad for 6 years before he died I think he likes - or at least has a stronger emotional connection to - darts than just 'they're okay'.
If he responded to Rupert with that I think Rupert would have thought twice about challenging him.
one hundred and eightyyyyyy!!!!
ОтветитьYou just dont see heartfelt scenes like this much anymore.
I believe Jason suidekiss isnt acting In this. He writes most of it and directs it. This is him with his heart on his sleave.
And it ain't half powerfull
To be fair, Rupert did ask Ted if he likes darts
ОтветитьI know this is a super emotional scene and I LOVE Ted's speech, but Rebecca's "shut your stupid little twat mouth or I will shut it for you" absolutely kills me every time I hear it. It's so aggressive and comes out of nowhere, I love her so much
Ответить"better manners when I'm holding a dart" - Good lord, such a positive guy making a threat like that. This series is the best ever written.
ОтветитьYou can see the exact moment Rebecca realizes her mistake. The face acting she does is remarkable when she realizes Ted lost his father at 16.
ОтветитьI love how his closing line before he throws the final dart is “barbecue sauce”
ОтветитьI just created a video featuring the top 5 goals of AFC RICHMOND on my channel.
I'm sure you'll love reliving these exciting moments
Ted Lasso and Waymond in Everything Everywhere all at Once are some of the best characters. We can all be kinder, myself included.
Ответить"Shut your stupid little twat mouth or I will shut it for you."
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Never loved a character more than I love Rebecca.
Trumpers are saying, "what's the point?".....
Ответить❤
ОтветитьI cried when I first saw this scene.
ОтветитьThe key scene from Ted Lasso. Barbecue sauce
ОтветитьLove this scene so much, great show
ОтветитьThis deserves and award
ОтветитьBarbecue Sauce
ОтветитьI wish it wasn’t cut when he says ohh this is gonna be a hoot cuz Rupert’s face tells all he’s like ohh shit he’s got me
ОтветитьThis is the feelgoodiest feelgood show iv ever watched.
ОтветитьOh, this is gonna be a hoot.
ОтветитьYou've Got Mail. S3E11. Nobody had any snookers, just tissues. LOL. F me. So gonna miss this show. ONLY 3 seasons and 34 eppys worth? If either the Megamillions or Powerball gets up to the 1.5B or 2B range and I win then I'd throw 50M just to have them do another 3 seasons of this show because that's how much it warms my soul. Yeah, I'll do other good shit with the rest so calm the F down. The World needs Ted.
Ответитьa friend sent me this and she said “it’s the best scene of any tv show ever”
……….
My response to her, “have you watched literally anything else?”
Rebecca snapping at Baz is one of my favourite lines!
ОтветитьCan we just be honest… Rupert asked Ted if he plays darts at the beginning. Not sure why they act like he wasn’t curious.
Ответить
