My FCP library was 112 Gb and I could not reduce the size. My mistake was that I selected a project first and then went File --> Delete Generated Media Files. But after watching your video, I have learnt that it is not necessary to select only one project but once FCP opens, you should go File --> Delete Generated Media Files. When I repeated it correctly,, the FCP library reduced from 112Gb to 380 Mb. And the way I was doing it was wrong. Thanks for such a helpful video....

Thanks for the video. :)
Is there a way we can keep templates of texts, animations, end screen, etc that I use on every video? (on FCPX)

This helped! What do you mean when you "archive" your library? Are you saving it to return for editing, and if so does it take up much space? I always delete my projects and just keep the video file when I have a completed project. Can I keep the project file around at low space cost?
