The BEST 3” mini polisher? Mirka cordless 3” polisher unboxed and tested!

Hi Pen, here is yet another one to consider getting and giving it a test run: ShineMate EB210 Mini Cordless Polisher.

The noise of that Mirka is so soothing. I could fall asleep to that sound. Rupes sounds like a rattling garbage can in comparison.

Hey Pan, have you tried the Milwaukee M12 variable speed polisher/ sander? I'm curious on your thoughts. I have a fair amount of Milwaukee tools currently.

I want to add my personal opinion and I would absolutely choose the Mirka.....HOWEVER..

There's NO CHANCE I would pay $800+ for a 1 year warranty...for a DA sander, basically what it is.

Yes, handle is angled, smooth and quiet. Even the Flex is absurdly overpriced.

Manufacturers need to understand, quality tools aren't excluded from DIYer's.

Seems in the recent years, certain aspects of automotive detailing looks more reserved for owners of expensive cars...it's like buying bubblewrap from Uline or an 18V impact from Snap-On. What about the average DIY owner who wants to keep their vehicle looking and protected the best they can, with long-term durability, without breaking the bank?

The one thing that bothers me is Made in China for THAT price. Its an incredible machine no doubt but nealry $1k for made in china?

My gosh that’s insane for the price of the Mirka but I do love all the features of it. If I ever became a professional detailer I would get it but I’m a DIY’er so not at this time for me

Hello Pan, I have been using this fantastic tool for a few months now and completely enjoy it! The non locking trigger is not a issue for me. The Rupes HLR 75 is so much louder compared to it that I am worried it might tear itself apart! It is expensive but absolutely worth it to me when using it for a extended period. It has made me look into the Mirka tool world and am happy with a variety of pads and polishes they make.

Ridiculous pricing. Worth it? Not to me. Sticker shock is real over here. I was excited until the price. Can't justify 2x pricing.

We love the Mirka at our shop! All of our guys fight over it when it's time for 3" work. The only thing we notice is the hook and loop on the backing plate wears out quick and doesn't hold on to pads very well. We've replaced the backing place twice in 6 months or so

I don’t know i bought so many things like my polishers and i just used them 2 times😂 i pre ordered the new rupes just cuz looks cool😅

900$ for a mini tool 😂😂😂
24$ for empty spray bottles
20$ for microfiber towels

I just ordered the Mirka…..then I woke from my dream.

I'll stick with my flex because I have extensions and quick change to one inch pads!

Thr Mirka doesn’t do 2” right ? It’s only a 3” right now? If not it might be super smooth and plenty of power but the Flex is a better buy it does anything from 3” to 1” and a rotary it’s a much more versatile unit and it’s cheaper. Will the finish be better than the flex or the Rupes ? It’s not worth the price vs the finish you get being you can get the same from the other machines at a less expensive price. No way is it the best 3” polisher.
