the plug you pull out of the end with the red fins, what if you put that back in but shoved it all the way into the head of the dart with a little shoe glue? more weight, fills some of the dead space in the dart, might fit the post easier?

Yeeharrr! Awesome work getting these together to work on the Mk28. Great job sourcing that foam... A little bit of tweeking with the weight and balance and they'll be shooting lasers.

And cheers for the shout-out there 😁 The ø42mm Blu Meanie's aren't really meant to be XL's themselves, but they share the same lineage and the theory behind them could certainly be applied to that ø30mm ammo if anyone wanted to give it a crack (I'll definitely be giving XL foam the treatment when I get a chance... 😈)

Meaker's work really is outstanding, eh. His original missiles along with u/Nevet01's "Rockety-Things" were some of the big drivers in my early interest in Big Foam. I can see him getting something out specifically for MegaXL PDQ after the darts appear on shelves, along with his own take on the ammo itself. Watch that space!

Would a penny be to heavy in between the dart and the foam tip? My old school nerf mod gears are smoking now.

Flux was able to build this in a garage... with a box of darts!

The Lanard Boomstick had some excessive sized darts, flew as well as a drunken sailor

Fun fact, I'm actually the one who commissioned Meaker to make the Mk28. Its appearance is based off of a Knockout I modified with the missile launcher from the Tristrike stock

I have a big lots near me, only good thing I've ever found there is a new in box demolisher last year. I haven't seen the water bombs there unfortunately

Hey Dr. Flux, switching to a one handed stance for the XLFakes probably had a hand in the the accuracy. You were two handed for demolishers and one handed for XLFakes.

I wonder if added a washer to the missiles (under the foam head) would add some mass and accuracy...

Damn, this is quite a cool mod to be used as a masterkey, or maybe a sort of Flare launcher, the only thing would be needed is to make the darts whistle. Cool mod for the knockout.

Meaker’s stuff is awesome. The unscrupulousmodifiler has some really unique and awesome stuff as well (the in-line clip of blue meanies using a marshmallow air blaster is so awesome. Thanks for the great video.

Hasbro really missed the mark on the Mega XL darts by not making them be able to fire off of their demolisher rocket HAMPs. Maybe the official knockoff Mega XL darts will solve that problem
