I didn't really care that there are better mario games i just had my sm3dw wii u disk broken and i decided to get it back on switch because it was improved in some areas

Yeah I can even play the wiiu version on my old laptop 2 core i5 midrange. A little screen tearing but mainly playable only a batocera os. I think it's one of the easier ones to emulate.

You forgot a BIG one. The game was made far easier. In the Wii U version, whenever you collected a star or stamp you had to make it to a checkpoint or the end of the level without dying in order to keep it. If you died, you had recollect it. In the Switch version, as long as you don't get a game over, you could die all you want without having to grab the item again.

The game has very few changes and the hardware power of the Wii U and the Switch are very close. The Switch is probably 25%- 50% stronger than the Wii U which is sad. Nintendo needs to release a new console soon.

Photo mode is in Mario odyssey as well

I hate when they translate the touch screen to motion controls and not giving an extra option for the R Stick (In this game and Galaxy too and BoTW) because I play with Wii U controller docked and doesn't have motion controls and I have to play these sections handheld and dock the switch again.

might be a little late on this. 3d world on switch has a bit more oomph in its sound, and with the enhanced audio of the OLED model, the game will be an orgasm for your ears

I‘ve played Super Mario 3D World on the Wii U a year after it’s release so there’s no reason for me to play it again on my Switch because it’d be boring for me to play the same game over again. I’d be only getting it for the Bowser‘s Fury.

I do like Nintendo, but I do think that Nintendo do seem to be revamping older games from previous consoles and cashing in on it. I no longer have a switch as I found it uncomfortable to use for an extended period, plus I found the price of the games even pre owned far too expensive, also I couldn't justify having a console for one or two games that I couldn't get on my Wii U, which I am just as satisfied and happy with as the majority of the games I would have bought I could and now have got on the Wii U, plus I find it a much more comfortable to use. Each to their own, but I love my Wii U, I'm glad I tried the switch but personally wouldn't get another one.

If Nintendo's own games on Switch start taking hits on the framerate (Bowser's Fury) I think it's a sign for Nintendo to REALLY power up their next system

You know how the stars make “shiny” sounds to help you locate them better? Was that in the Wii U as well or was that a new Switch feature? It has been a while since I played the Wii U version.

I think this game(s) are excellent. First time playing 3D world and it really is a master class in game design.

Yeah switch has better original games and ports but the wii u has Nintendo land xcx Zelda twiglhlt and wind water so both are good paper Mario color splash yoshi wolly world Kirby and the rainbow cruse nes remix wii party and wii party u both gaxlxy

If every other rereleases were like this, the £60 would be understandable.

The game is better in practically every way, except that you keep green star and stamps that you already got in a level when you die (could’ve easily hava an option to change it) and no blowing mechanics (blowing platforms are now automatic and you can blow away mini goomba)
