Hi, I have a new instagram account. When I post a highlights it say 1 day ago but it seems akward if all my highlights r at the same moment. Does anyone know a method to change instagram highlights date? Thank you!

Fun fact: you can make an story and hide from everyone and when 24 hours pass you can allow from the story settings that everyone can see your story and then you put it on Highlights😉😉😉

Dis is wat I came up wid myself n I’m shock pple seem not to knw dis strategy. Post de story, n den u delete it ryt away. go to YOUR ACTIVITIES > RECENTLY DELETED> STORIES. U r gonna see de story u deleted ryt there. u have to wait for 24 hrs after u deleted dat story. Den come back there. You click on dat story n den click on de 3 dots at right down. u r gonna see ‘restore’ click on it. As if u r restoring de deleted story back on de stories. Buh in dis case de 24 hrs is over. So where is it going ? STORY ACHIEVES ! ✅. Den boom you put on your highlights from your story archive. Simple way to put up highlights without it going on your story!!!! It works

Yes the video is great it worked, but the part that sucks is that it only stays up for 48 hours

It's messed up, don't do it, after i unhide those people, they saw my story... It's sh*t Maybe it's not working anymore.... I deleted my story right away, i hope nobody has watched it🤦‍♀️😫

can someone explain if my understanding here right:
1) put story and viewable to close friend only
2) deselect the close friend only after 24 hours
3) the picture will be on our profile as highlight and viewable by all followers right? 😅

so helpful. can ANYONE please help- HOW do i change my story privacy settings (after it’s been posted and added to highlights) from my close friends to public again? i’ve recently only ever decided to make one story close friends only, now when i try to change the specific story to public, it doesn’t let me! the only option i have is to deselect all my close friends, and then no one can see the story except me. i can’t find answers anywhere, can this not be changed? it seems like it would be able to be done the same as what you did but my story doesn’t go back to all friends when i deselect the close friends.

Can I make existing highlights that are like two years old, which is a photo that isn’t on my camera roll anymore to be private?

The thing is that lot of times, the hide story from panel doesn't show all your followers so a lot of people end up seeing that story anyway

I think i found out a way to do that so basically uu have to post your story and delete it and then u will have 30 days to restore it if u do it after 24 h u will find it already in the archive and i think that's itt uu should try it donow why ppl making it so hard while it's piecefcake

Wait, I'm confused. So after we add the highlights, then we go back to the privacy thing and take back the ticks (the one we disabled for them from seeing our story), aren't they still can see our story since we didn't delete it before 24 hours?
