“There’s a sign that way” Brutal!! 😂😂👉🏻👉🏻
ОтветитьDuncan didn't want to be impolite, but then goes the extra mile with his ignominious award!! LOL 😂
ОтветитьTo be fair, the man is right. The signs are placed incorrectly, they are hardly visible.
ОтветитьI need £1,000 to build the signs and £49,000 to bribe the lady who runs signs and signals
ОтветитьHow is it a bad idea ? Ok even if its not good for the roads, you can still use it for car parks, warehouses to guide fork lifts, fire emergency in crowded areas like shopping malls etc.
Ответить5 years later he is still looking for the exit sign
ОтветитьGood luck getting Highway's Agency to adopt this pile of crap
ОтветитьImagine being this guy's kids...
Ответитьthe wrong way signs are not facing the opposite way lmao they face oncoming traffic on wrong sides of roads and highway exits lol
Ответить"Will you listen to me Duncan for five minutes?"
"I'll listen to you Derek."
How nice. 🙂
Ok, this episode came out 10 years ago, maybe 2014…
The world already had road signs with FLASHING LIGHTS.
Unbelievable.
Seriously lmao 🤣
Ответитьhow has nobody noticed that the traffic that is coming towards you is white, not red
ОтветитьSurely that £24k would have beeb better spent on flashing “I’M OUT” signs for the dragons 🤣
ОтветитьReal life Toby
ОтветитьDeborah looks pretty in this episode ❤
ОтветитьGreetings! We are aliens from the solar system of Alpha Centuri.
We have only now contacted you after humanity finally created technology that was befitting of an intelligent race.
Behold - the Flow Signal! Please take us to your leader Derek…
"Theres a sign there" LOL
ОтветитьLet’s all be honest, this guy isn’t smart enough to realize how terrible this invention is
ОтветитьSo… he invented lights?
ОтветитьDuncan has amazing comedic timing
ОтветитьSo he wants to put signs on some signs?
But if you did that then you wouldn't need the signs?
I could kind of see where he was coming from 😂
ОтветитьYikes. This guy makes me need my deep breathing and tapping exercises. Maybe if I breathe through the diaphragm he'll go away.
ОтветитьLegend has it Rory is still searching for seaweed on the lonely beaches of Scotland
ОтветитьThey'll stealhis idea then rework & revamp it in less than 15 years...
ОтветитьJeremy Clarkson with his micro car was less of a windup than this guy. This must've been a dare.....
ОтветитьThe lady who runs the signs and signals doesn’t like the idea”. This might be one of the best bits of unintentional comedy I’ve ever seen.
ОтветитьSome of his points about the traffic signs are valid to be fair. However, his solution requires batteries or a power connection, some of the existing signs are illuminated but not all. His solution is just too expensive, and would require a large public educational program to explain the new signals.
You need a background in human factors and road safety legislation etc. to have a chance of pulling this off.
Do not make signs more complicated.
ОтветитьThis episode felt a bit like bullying on the part of the dragons. You can see the guy is really passionate about it. I know it’s not the best idea ever but there was no need to mock him and all snickering behind his back when he was trying to talk. Not nice at all.
ОтветитьBrah 😂😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьI think he could run the country better than Starmer
ОтветитьIf that’s such a big problem put a sign in the back….ohhh they have already done that? Well shieeet then my invention is useless then innit?
ОтветитьWow just wow....😅😅😅
ОтветитьGenuinely, I saw someone turn the wrong way into a one way street today, and I thought, “if only there were a flow signal installed, he wouldn’t have done that”
You’re a genius Derek.
School Zones, Cross walks, Bus stops, airports - all good applications.
180 degree sign? You know how many signs get blown over or bent sideways? it happens so often. If there was a sign that was visible regardless if its completely turned around then that would be amazing
this does not change the fact that in Australia there are 48 million kangaroos and in Uruguay there are 3,457,380 inhabitants. So if the kangaroos decide to invade Uruguay, each Uruguayan will have to fight 14 kangaroos
ОтветитьThese are the good years.
I cant watch the new show , its crap now.
Thats a lot of quid for some flashing LEDs. And he thought it was worth patenting and have it around the world- im open to the idea of making a new standard, but youre adding extra steps for a street sign. Signage thats cheap and costs 1000 times less than a single street light, and he wants to put lights under a sign...Yea, no.
Ответитьlol that was rough. hes a wannabe businessman. this is strange
ОтветитьI'm confused, maybe it is different in England, because in America, the one way signs work the same, but there also are "Do Not Enter" signs facing the opposite direction. Do you not have those over there?
Ответитьthis is a classic
ОтветитьMeanwhile in the US we actually do have "Wrong Way" signs on freeway ramps
ОтветитьDerek is still stood on the high street roaring at traffic
ОтветитьDeborah - Have you had this approved?
Derek - No
🤣🤣
Where I’m from in Atlanta we have at least a couple people killed every year from entering the interstate the wrong way. It’s not a terrible idea to have lights on these signs to stop the next drunk driver from not noticing the wrong way signs that are easy to miss at night.
ОтветитьYou cant "invent" sticking lights on a pole. Best you can do is call the road people and suggest it.
