Please can u help me out, what is a more important aspect? HDR, or the panel type such as OLED, QLED... I've been stuck and don't know whether to sacrifice a better panel type with HDR10 to a not as good panel type e.g. LCD/LED/QLED, but have Dolby vision/HDR10+ included. Please respond because I really need help because I am trying to find a perfect budget television which ticks all the boxes for gaming and watching films - its for my bedroom. I have calculated that a screen 43" - 50" is the right size. Thanks

Buying anything off the television ads. Investigate the product before you buy it! Because you could be buying something that they are lying about like Gotham Steel and their pots and pans they don't scratch oh yeah I got a pain in there got them steel that I bought I got a big pan and a small one and I paid over 40 something dollars for them okay the little pants all scratched up by using egg meter in there so that was a lie. But I bought their garbage please don't go out and buy the garbage please take the time and investigate something before you buy it don't waste your money because a lot of people are liars in this world. May God bless you all and have a good day

So sad how everything goes obsolete ….back in the day stuff lasted forever.

Someone’s getting very wealthy of this….

I dislike it very much 🤨

It’s all to much …all these numbers and digits to just buy a TV.

It use to be so straight forward..

What happens to TVs today when they go obsolete or can you upgrade like your phone (which I also resent) 😂

This is all completely irrelevant to what the average consumer wants in india.

1. Here, 90% of the content we watch is in SD.
So it absolutely does not make sense to have a 4K TV.
2. LED backlit LCD TVs dominate the market. Anything else doesn't make sense from budget point of view.
3. Screen size just purely depends on the budget and has nothing to do with room size.
4. Smart TV is still new, but it's only slightly more expensive than regular TV, so all the new TVs are smart TVs.

Here are the main categories of TV people buy here.

1. Non-smart 24" TV with 720p display. - for people who never had TV before
2. Smart 32" TV with FullHD - for lower middle class who just want to watch serials and news, but also have the option to do more.
3. Smart 40" TV with FullHD - for upper middle class who wants to explore more things, watch HD content, pay for a steaming service, show off that they can afford a bigger TV, etc
4. Smart 50" TV with FullHD - for even richer people who want even bigger TV to show off they're even richer.
5. Smart 50"+ TV with 4K - rich idiots who want the lastest crap, and money doesn't matter.

4k and hdr
Oled screen (thinner and lighter edges) for dark rooms.uses more led for brightness.
Qled- samsung (high colour volume) for bright room.
Hdr- contrast range. Most tv support 5k and hdr. Hdr with dolby vision by other tvs. Samsung- hdr with 4k.
For gaming- hdmi 2.1, e-arc.
Sound - sound bar will make diff.
Tv- offers apps?
Warning- go to store and check but also look online with reviews.
Recommended- lg nano cell option, toshiba, tcl.

I got a Samsung curved 4k about 4 years ago. After about a month, I noticed it acting slow when starting up programs, closing programs randomly, and having trouble having 2 programs open (for example, I’d have to exit fully out of Netflix before starting up Hulu). Also, it would do this weird thing where if I turned on my Playstation, I would get a blank screen and have to go to a different input and then back to the one for my PS4 to get a picture. I contacted customer support a dozen times and all they did was reset my TV which would help for 2 days and it would go right back to how it was.
This week, it stoped working with a blinking red light in the bottom right corner. I looked at a few online causes and ways to fix it which didn’t work. Unfortunately this gave me a bad impression of Samsung. I most likely will be going with LG or Sony next which may be better since I’m a gamer (For Life!).

why does Samsung not even do OLED though? Seems stupid, but i may be saying that because i have 48 month financing with them and I would rather an OLED than Neo QLED though its still better than the other QLED panels.
