To whom it may concern:
Demand better cancer care for your loved one, but not all that are or will be effected? Fix one faulty hospital in AB, but not all in Canada? You dont do jack by picking bits and pieces from here and there to be fixed. You certainly dont fix anything by waiting years to vote. That's not working.

Welcome to Danielle Smith’s Alberta where freedum reigns. They think cancer is a hoax and drinking a few home brewed cocktails will cure it.

There shouldn’t be a need for user acceptance testing in cancer care for the health care system to be alerted there are flaws that desperately need to be addressed. We can do better as a country to support each other in our most critical times of need, and we will do better—lest we dishonour the memory of those we have already let down.

Here's the thing in Canada. We don't have "free healthcare". We pay for it with taxes. So like with any service that you are paying for you are entitled to have expectations. Our services are abysmal and have been for years across the board. At virtually every level of care; from family doctor access, to emergency centre and specialist care. It's terrible and seems to be getting worse year over year. We deserve more. We demand better. Otherwise more and more tragedies are guaranteed with our current systems. Rest in peace Steven Wong... you deserved (and paid!) for so much more than you got.
