The irony here is there's a good chance 40%-50% of federal workers being fired voted for Trump.

A judge has ruled thatn DOGE has no authority to fire workers in other agencies or departments. And DOGE is not even a deparment, it has not been ratified by Congress. Rather than saving the US billions, Musk is going to cost it trillions in payouts to illegally fired workers.

When an employee works , there needs to be accountability but threats of firing or layoff will put friction and mistrust in to the system that he is working for.

You can tell most of these workers have never had a real job outside of the federal government. Every week I have to turn in a timesheet listing which projects I worked on. This is not a crazy weird ask at all. They’re just self-righteous, spoiled brats who think they’re entitled to these jobs.

Department heads could be telling their employees not to answer the email. There needs to be a whistle blower hotline included on the email.

I can list 5 things I did today in retirement: Did Laundry, vacuumed the house, washed the dishes, washed my car, walked the dogs, took a walk, religious studies, and prayers.
