Intel N100 CPU on the Beelink MINI S 12 PRO | Performance, Temperatures & Noise Levels

One annoying this is working out which Quicksync version it has. Website states YES !! but which one. i am after version 8 and i cannot believe that intel doesnt mention which versions are with which processor. I want a plex server as i have 4k hdr files with igh bitrates and need hardware transcoding BUT i am after extremely low power consumption and this seems to be very good in that spec. But i dont know about the plex 4khdr transcodes with quicksync.

Anyone have an idea?

Any good as a home server for jellyfin?

Has anyone tried connecting a drawing tablet or a midi keyboard to this?

N100 looks amazing, my complain is being "single channel only" for the memory. Intel nerfed him on purpose to sell the pricier ones.

How does thee N100 in this compare to an i3 from 2014 or 2015? I’m running an old HP desktop for my online radio station. It runs the radio software just fine, but when I do live streaming in Streamyard, it gets very laggy, unresponsive, and the fans spin up to the point where it sounds like something is gunna break. I need to replace it, but am on an extremely tight budget, but I know I can afford some of these that have the N100 or similar. But, if it is going to struggle just as much, then it’s not worth it. I don’t know the exact processor I have now, but I know it’s an i3, and I got it in 2014 or 2015.

how are these for video playback? Google TV is no longer viable option for optical spdif toslink in Android 10 and newer it was taken away. I purchased Xiaomi Mi TV Box S Gen 2 and only 2.1 sound is possible so I am looking for Windows 11 box and will use a usb soundcard in future.

You need to be more specific and do not forget to measure power consumption from the wall.

How do this with OS Ventura ?

can it handle ps2 emulation or nintendo wii emulation? seems like single channel ram is holding this back....
