Great Western, I'm about 60,dont remember this one, Dad turned me on to westerns when I was young, John Wayne, Clint Eastwood spaghetti westerns, Peckinpah stuff, nice and gritty and poetic

Can't go wrong with Burt Lancaster in the lead role. He's one of a kind for sure. And always a class act.

Never saw or heard of this movie, and I'm stunned by the underlying suttle points in it. Most interesting.

Omg, well, this is a great western, I seen maybe a yr ago😊. Those two paragraphs in descript. when Lancaster was sick, then 'The Duke' passing during filming of this are a great addition!

I've had the fortune to work with several of the cast members of this little Western through the years and folks like Scott Glenn, William 'Rusty' Russ and Jerry Gatlin are truly gentlemen in my book.

Don -- if we ever talk, remind me to tell you my Burt Lancaster story on a picture he produced and starred in that a long ago mentor, Alan Sharp wrote and ultimately directed.

Stay frosty today, it's gonna be 114F today in lower Oregon. Gotta wonder what it's like in EL-Aaaa and all that Summer smog.
