This is what I wanted to be my first bike. I'm about 5'9 205 and I ride my trainees CBR300 at work. It's a little on the heavy side and I was looking for something lighter but still around the same power. Currently saving up for my RC 390 and fingers crossed ill be on the road by December or January 24'🤞🏾 thanks for this video!! Be safe

speed limit for me and where i live is 55 so i think the 390 could suit that environment a little bit better. its sounds happier in the 50-65 mph which is plenty for portland metro highways in oregon.

The 2020 must have changed as for the highway. I can enter the Highway as you did at 70mph but I cruise on up to 95 mph with no shift light coming on.

Hey chase I have a 2015 Honda cbr650f I love it but if I ever decided to move up and was wondering if this specific bike would be best for me because of my height I'm 5'4. I really want an r6 hearing so many good things about it but I think it's a little to tall for a rider of my height

Dude you are tapped the bike out at 83mph which is equal to like 133kmph if I am correct. You don't ride KTM like that ring it till the engine gives out hahaha. Well you can cruse on 150kmph 90 to 93 mph you would still have juice left to overtake. On a serious note I think you should ride one after the engine breaking has happened.

I have a 2018 Ktm 390 and my indicator light in 6th gear doesn’t show until around 90mph and 9k rpm ish. It’s the same for most of the gears on the 2019 model he’s riding. Not sure what that’s about tbh

I own a 2017 RC390 and a 07 ZX6R but I always smile ear to ear getting on my 390. It's so nimble and such a unique ride experience. Love doing Twisties on it.

I'm living in Indonesia at the moment and I just purchased the RC 250 special Edition, and I love this little bike. Perfect for the crowded streets but you can still open it up when you get onto the highway. I'd love to upgrade to the 390 but its over priced in this country.

I currently own a cbr500 2021, I like the 2022 rc390 but I wonder if I would feel stupid to change my bike for the ktm 🤔, I like the equipment and sport style and light weight compared to the CBR , but I wonder about the power or if there's not so much difference , the ktm got quality serie options compared to the CBR and easy to ride around mountain roads , I never take the highways so no care about top speed just acceleration , still have one year restricted license so I think the RC would make a nice other experience before getting a more powerful bike later 🤔

I wish Yamaha would punch the R3 out to 385cc or so, but keep the current R3 frame size / looks / revs.

Looking at this for half the cost of a new Yamaha R7 $11 K.

Damn, KTM took "Ready to Race" quite literally.

In India rc390/duke390 costs somewhere around 4100$, r3(non-abs) 5200$, ninja400 7000$ nd ninja300 (non-abs) 5100$ , ktm bikes are cheaper in india because of the partnership of bajaj (indian motorcycle company) nd ktm Even the spare parts of ktm is very cheap compare to other bikes in 400cc segment

Always a good idea to keep a couple of fingers covering the front brake lever. Esp around town. Split seconds count

I wouldn't have a problem with a bike that can't go past the speed limit but it better get there asap! Viva la acceleration!!!!

It’s just to slow

If this machine had any kind of decent reliability reputation it'd be at the top of the list. Best looking low CC period. But owners report low material and construction quality. Shame.
