The shapes in nature are absolutely not fractals. Things like branching trees only exist in a self-similar way over a small range of scales and have clearly defined boundaries where they stop being self similar due to the physics that drives the structure's formation in the first place.

I saw this really cool fractal while making a blended coffee running down the side of the cup. It was running like perfect branches/ snowflake style going down on the cup. Looked so COOL

they're not fractals in nature. they dont repeat endlessly, nor are they an exact replica of other parts.

It’s interesting that fractals can be used to imagine/describe how ‘life’ (as in “life will find a way”) works too. All life on this planet has branches of generations as roots, and if able branches of generations as… well, branches. Life is pretty awesome!
