Isn’t the 2000% bonus a 20x multiplier not 11x

In typical DE fashion, however, the Lex incarnon just outright powercrept Laetum. There's no reason to use Laetum if you have Lex incarnon. While in normal form, the Lex is just a straight up better version of Laetum (hitscan, lower recoil, significantly higher damage, etc), while in incarnon form the Lex clears groups better due to being effectively an Arca Plasmor.

Why not make a dmg comparison when going for headshots considering crit builds are getting the headshot evolution?

How much would a laetum riven be worth?

btw about the incarnon mode and slash. if you put a hunter munition on lets say phenmor, will it be more useful to not to pick non-crit 2000% buff?

I'd say the 11x is only stronger when you have xatas whisper
The 3x max stack may be weaker but since it can effect crits it can actually be stronger then 11x but both are just as good as the other

I wonder if a Fire Rate, Low Crit, High Multishot, Arcane Pistoleer setup can make this gun incarnon mode a new Peacemaker xD

I went for a crit build with my laetum as opposed to my phenmor and just so happened to get a riven soon after and rolled
42.3% crit damage
40% toxin
45% projectile speed
-32.8% zoom

I just snagged one for700plat
+60% for
+47%zoom(helps with headshots)
And-38% critical chance, bringing me from 22cc down to 13%cc before Incarnon or however its spelled. level 4, then need to rank up quills,get the weapons then finish mission.

am i reading the buffs wrong...because the way im reading them you dontwant crits on either build. why would you put crit on it?

The Laetems incarnon mode can serve as a substitute primary weapon for groups of enemies and this can provide more variety towards your primary weapon choices which can be quite beneficial for semi auto/single shot weapon users as a general example with a couple of weapons providing unique bonus's by having them equipped even if you don't plan on using them.

I recently got -crit riven for this, and found out that elemental excess is applied after the mod calculation. This means that, as long as you get -55% crit on the riven (-54.6, actually), you will be able to achieve 0% crit on laetum! 22-(22*55%)-10

UPDATE: DE just nerfed Overwhelming, claiming it was too powerful compared to the other options.
How can this possibly be? when the math shows Devouring to the the superior one?

Theory:
what if both were Intended to be multiplicative? this would in fact make Overwhelming more powerful, -perhaps it is actually Glitched and DE themselves never realized this?

ok hear me out on this, that pistol mod that makes the last shot in your gun do more damage, but switch to incarnon mode when you have 1 shot left in your clip, so you're always on your last shot for as long as you have incarnon energy.

There's a fun interaction with galvanised crosshairs, which isn't run often on pistols.

This allows you to get the 3 stacks of +400%, then aim down sights to get your crit capped, so long as you actually kill things with headshots occasionally.

Worth trying out. Galvanized crosshairs and creeping bullseye give you 66% crit zoomed out, and 92.4% when zoomed in, each headshot kill gives another 8.8%, so with one stack you go over 100% crit chance while aiming. Up to a max of 136.4, but due to the nature of the galvanized crosshairs stacks being independent this is very unlikely.

This takes the multiplier up to 76.5x-104x taking a lead against the 2000% multiplier based builds, but using another slot, so possibly worse with that factored in. I do run arcane avenger when possible to offset the need for creeping bullseye though.

So you unscope to get the buffs, then scope in for big damage when targets require it.

by the way, the ammo effiency buffs do apply to the Laetums Incarnon mode, making it last significantly longer

In building devouring attrition you forgot that you will want to avoid headshots and the fact that overwelming attrition gives you bonus headshot damage

Can we also talk about the fact that sometimes I randomly lose gauge progress towards Incarnon form? Pretty sure that's a bug too. Not sure what causes that though.

Is galavanized shot mod working on this weapon ?

Would galvanized savvy be useful with the laetum?

Fun fact: the 2000% multiplier (for both the phenmor and the laetum) is applied TWICE if you use Xatas whisper, once for the damage of the weapon and again for the void damage instance, synergising akin to headshot multipliers. That essentially means the multiplier is squared (although the first instance is multiplied by 0.40-0.85 at reasonable-ish strength numbers before the second instance is applied, determined by the % of damage Xatas will clone). Don’t take my word for it, Dystopia has a video of it obliterating level 4k steel path demolysts.

Basically the Incarnon firearms can be built for crit and non-crit and will shred enemies the same way.

Is the Elemental Excess working (+20% stat, -10% crit)? At least it seems that nothing changes in arsenal stats when I use that evolution or something else?

You should check out Synth Charge on this weapon. Triples incarnon dps if you evolve while having 0 ammo in the clip

I kinda have an issue with the "field of view" i mean, it's hard to look down iron sights when HILDRYN in her FAT FUCKIN' head is also trying to look down iron sights. is there some way of clearing my view so half my screen isn't blockated by headgear? or is that just an eternal problem of "over the shoulder third person" that's just.... the way it is? [I swear it wasn't this bad for other pistols...

I feel like Warframe is going to a direction I don't have fun playing.
Galvanized mods and now Incarnon forms have so much power behind them that require ramp-ups and gimmicky setup that I hate using them while their strenght makes enduring the jank needed to do new content in a good feeling efficiency.

Can you use hommorage mode? Convert impact to slash?

I"m curious why you didn't go for Galvanized Shot here, as with two status procs it's stronger than hornet strike and provides a status chance boost at the same time on a weapon that likes status. Unless it does something screwy with how the heat procs calculate damage it'd be a straight upgrade.

Funny, the first build I used to finally make it to my first Gantulyst solo capture was the Laetum with crits and radiation. And that was just with 4 evolutions and a Mirage.

This weapon is the only weapon I've seen 1m non-crits on. Granted, I have a riven with +damage +multi, but still. Absolutely insane.

Is reload speed directly tied to transform speed then? I find the phenmor in particular transforms awkwardly slow. If i run primed fast hands on it does that speed it way up?

If your going to "primary" this weapon, i suggest brining the scourge prime and throwing it around to setup that headshot magnet effect it applies. Theyre an excellent pairing

Ah, I see why you argue that Devouring Attrition is better differently from AznvasionsPlays, he doesn't use Hornet Strike even with that node activated relying only on the arcane. His video was made before the absolute change to the -crit +status node though which does have a fair impact.

That said, there is still a shared conclusion that this gun is nuts!

i currently got my laetum setup for crit builds with galvanized crosshairs, specificly because its easyer to control the buff of just hip firing for a second to get max then go full in otherwise, which when you math the average is 6.96 without a fire rate decrease at max crosshair stacks. that extra mod slot is something though. ill probably keep it on this build for awhile as a angel nuker since there status limited, and have my phenmor the +2000% build since it has both base slash and what ever i mod into it

You should've included the 50% from devouring attrition in your equation
