ОтветитьHey Dave, brilliant video. I’m new to character animator and this is just what I needed to get started. One or two places went a bit fast for me but I’ll just slow the video down at these. I’m really looking forward to going through some of your other videos. Many thanks. 👍🏻😎
ОтветитьExcellent video. Life saver. Thank you!
ОтветитьWWWWHHHAAAATTTTT!!!!! This is amazing. Thank you so much for all this free info!!!!! So great!
ОтветитьI owe you money after these 💥
ОтветитьGreat video. I do wish your team would either make videos or documentation for advanced level. Everything is definitely tailored for beginners. I have watched every video you've ever made and I'm definitely an expert at beginner videos. It'd be nice for people who want to use it as a professional tool to have the resources and support to be able to grow past super simple rigs. Make a video about shareables and how to properly use them. Make a video about how to properly make a mirrored face profile with shareables correctly without losing eye gaze direction. Make a video showing how to make a puppet with headturns and walk cycles or limb IK without bogging down powerful machines. Let's make CA more popular with professionals and build the community. The forums are barren btw.
ОтветитьOh my god so good explained thank you!!!!
ОтветитьSUPERB work, Dave – Preston Blair would have been impressed!
ОтветитьCan we use your character without copyright in our videos ?
It will be so much of the help
Can I use Procreate to create a character? or have to be Photoshop etc? Thank you :)
ОтветитьDo you know anything about Envato Elements downloads and how it can be transferred and edited in Adobe After Affects
ОтветитьMy characters eyes are moving outside of the head whenever i look to the side. Also everytime I blink, my head vanishes with every blink. Could you help me with that please?
ОтветитьAlso, the characters eyes are not moving at the same pace. My right eye is stronger than my left it seems like
ОтветитьHi. Is there any way to morph the mouth like Moho Pro can do?
Ответитьiam going to use this to make a video like that.
ОтветитьBy chance, is there a tutorial for CA for a four-legged animal rigging, and animation(walking)?? There are a few here on YT, but they pass over important details in the rigging (and IK rig limbs) or aren't very clear as yours are. Do you have one available? I saw there was a Cat in the Starter version, but it appears it stands on two feet, I believe... and the starters don't much in that category. Would really like to figure how to rig the 4 legs, as in a horse, which the leg system bends differently.
Ответитьthanks for the training God bless you
ОтветитьHello, when I try doing the swap set, both my happy and sad mouth stay why is this? Thank you.
ОтветитьThis is the fastest, detailed, animation, direction, audio, studio, perfect all aound tutorial ever. Thanks
ОтветитьIm a total beginner in this.. can i ask wt equipment we require other than pc?
ОтветитьOnce i rig up my character in CA how to i import it into a new CA scene with another character? or is the standard workflow to record each characters movements and then brign them together in AE?
ОтветитьHy Dave, please help me I've been struggling trying to figure out how to create a story with different puppet views (frontal, right/left quarter and right/left profile). I can draw the all the views but i cannot properly rig them to be one character. Please help. Please create a tutorial where you'll be explaining how the puppet 'NINJA' was rigged
ОтветитьBruh...this is such an amazing and helpful video. Great job. Seriously.
Ответить@Okay Samurai, Please consider adding scripting ability in this software. May be, if we are able to do something like
Walk(2s)
Trigger("smile")
Trigger("wow")
will be great.
Wow, so much information - I gotta tag this to reference for later. Thank you for sharing.
ОтветитьI am quite new to animation and this was very fun and interesting to watch, there is apperently a lot of work for what can be seen as an easy or introductory animation project, keep it up buddy 👌😊
Ответитьwhere can i get psd template character? please help
ОтветитьHi Dave. Thank you so much for all the tutorials. I wish every piece of software had someone like you.
I downloaded your Dave Character and love it. But there are some things that I cannot figure out:
- In it right arm, the elbow is tagged as "Left Elbow"
- Even though Limb IK is applied to both the arms, they can be stretched to abnormal lengths
Thank you so much,
Tony.
Is there any chance you can share the final project? Or offer it for sale? That would be a valuable resource for many of us.
ОтветитьI really like these type of long videos explaining everything, your content and character animator are the things got me into animations and stuff. You're the best teacher for this software.
Ответитьhe deserve a like n sub guys !!!
ОтветитьDear Dave, big fan of your work speaking :D. Could we move the eyebrows manually (without recording the Face behavior)?
ОтветитьPlease consider making a new version of this including all the new features that have come out since this video was released
Ответитьthanks a lot for effort and explanation
ОтветитьYou are not sharing normal animation teaching but a life saving video, know that? 🥹 THANK U SO MUCH 🥹✨️🙏🏻 May God blessed you ✨️
ОтветитьI have come back to this video for your useful tips so many times . Can't say enough how thankful I am, Dave. Not sure if you're still developing CH as I've seen less and less new videos of yours recently. Wish you all the best, buddy.
ОтветитьI owe a lot to this video,
Few years back i stumbled upon it and started animating,
Now I am a successful animator , though I use a different Adobe software now but this video will always stay close to my heart!
Hi; thanks for your response to my last question. I'm creating a CA newscaster, and I've started with the standing version. He'll also be seated at a desk; when he's at the desk, I need to cut him off at the waist, so that all his hand gestures will be above the desk surface. Once I've finished rigging the standing version, can I save the puppet as a new version (how?), and simply remove his lower half and cut off the torso at the appropriate spot? If I just turn off all the layers I don't need in the original Illustrator file, will that be sufficient, or will all the extra unused layers bog it down? Will that affect the rest of the rigging? Can I also keep the second version (both puppet and scene) in the same project as the original? Will versioning cover that need? Or is it better to make a separate project for the second set-up? Many thanks!
ОтветитьI have a bunch of background layers of scenery on the timeline. Is there a way to group them and "twirl them up" so they only take up 1 row on the timeline?
ОтветитьHow can I upload my audio using my phone to audition in wave form? Thank You
ОтветитьHi, I'm about to start learning Character Animator. This series is 4 years old. Is it still relevant in 2024, or has the program changed too m uch?
