No Moves?
Flareon: :(
Remember FRLG had an embargo on nonkanto mons too, you had to beat the game to finally get them back
Ответить…or use a heart scale and just goto a move relearner?
ОтветитьAsh really thought Jesse's Arbok evolved into Seviper
ОтветитьWeavile is my favorite pokemon but tbh it’s so good in gen 4 and gen 6 OU and it’s cool in Pokken so it’s fine
ОтветитьBlissey definitely isn’t a bad Pokémon, but it really got screwed by eviolite
Ответить"Gen 8 removed location based evolutions"
Galarian Yamask moment
No, you can find beldum and metang in bw2. I hated it, because their catch rate it lower than most legends
ОтветитьMan, gen2 sneasel will never not bother me
ОтветитьServiper need either a regional variant or an evolution, would've been perfect for sword and shield.
ОтветитьEspeon, Nosepass et all are deliberate omissions. Remakes are supposed to not have evolutions introduced later on, so whenever possible their evolution methods are locked out. You can't get mons like Crobat in FRLG either.
ОтветитьHere is one defense for saying if a Pokemon is good or bad... the simple truth is that Pokemon wasn't created with competitive in mind.
And as Little Cup shows us, we should make the tournaments for the Pokemon, not the Pokemon for the tournaments...
Hitmontop’s evolution should have been “if speed is higher than both attack and defence”, because, you know, spinning tops spin fast
ОтветитьI transferred my pogo zarude to sword years ago and did a solo playthrough with it, golisopod was in my nightmares after that 😂
ОтветитьFlareon who unlike the other eeveeloutions basicly only has 2 good stats instead of 3. also has to choose between using a fire attack that doesnt do crap for damage or one that hurts itself. zapdos who is the only special attack legendary birds that cant be taught air slash. sceptile who has an amazing move pool for a physical attacker but is a special attacker, nearly every physcial electric type ever who has to choose between thunder punch if they have that option or a a move that hurts themselves. rock types who unless your a rare special attacking rock type all of your high damage moves have god awful accuracy. people complain about graphics and frame rates all the time. you rarely hear about how horribly balanced even some good pokemon are with move pools and stats.
ОтветитьI actually think golisopod's ability synergises pretty well with it, sicne first impression means it enjoyes being switched in and ouf. If anything, this allows it to use first impression, soak a hit, and from here allow you to immediately pivot safely even if it doesnt die.
tldr: it's ability has its strategic uses, and it has a kit that actually mixes pretty well with the ability.
got the wrong dmvs on my enamorus, have to reset pla for the 76th time
ОтветитьIron Bundle was adding to Delibird's injury...
ОтветитьOh g/s and houndour... I remember having a friend trade me one because I wanted to use it at the start of the game.
Ответитьwe have leaf stones, thunder stones, fire stones, icy stones, dawn, dusk, sun, moon... and we use these stupid moss+icy rocks to evolve eevee; happiness for espeon and umbreon AND these stupid friendship gimmicks for sylveon like, stop being stupid game freak.
ОтветитьIs it strange that my rufflet evolved at 42 in sword and shield
ОтветитьSure do love playing a rom of the old games where I can enable catch.trainers pokemon 😂
ОтветитьI got houndour and sneasel early thanks to the pokewalker.
ОтветитьWhat about gen 2 stantler
ОтветитьYungoos and Alolan Raticate were screwed over in Sun and Moon.
Yungoos gets Strong Jaw as one of its regular abilities, and couldn't learn Elemental Fangs til USUM.
Where as Alolan Raticate gets the frail Normal/Dark typing, is slow as hell, and DOESN'T get elemental fangs! Not even in USUM!
You forgot to mention Jangmo-o and Clobbopus in this vid. As almost a reaction against the gen 5 late evolutions, these guys evolve immediately after you are able to catch them. While it may make them more viable in later gens, their locations in the games they're introduced in make using them an ephemeral experience.
ОтветитьArticuno becoming a duel ice/flying type in gen 2 made it so bad eventually by gen 3/4 yet it was so good gen 1. Ended up making it one of the weakest legendaries until ability patches were released. Shame cause its my fav :P There was only really one choice for general play mind reader and sheer cold for me XD
ОтветитьRegigas is the top.
ОтветитьARCHEOPS! Please just let it have a different ability
ОтветитьWait in BDSP I can evolve Magneton with a Thunderstone. I'll have to give that a go.
ОтветитьThe legendary beasts in gen3.
Due to a glitch, they're forced to have literally no IVs at all once you encounter them
If you get a plus Ampharos your screwed
ОтветитьYou where also able to catch a Volcarona in the dessert in just Black and White 😄
ОтветитьWhy the hell does Zangoose not have Extreme Speed? It's a Mongoose, you know, those animals that hunt Snakes using their literal extreme speed?
ОтветитьWhere’s flygon?
ОтветитьSneasel: I was screwed over by availability.
Larvitar: Yeah, poor you.
Wheres flygon?
ОтветитьGlacen and Leafeon were truly screwed over by the fact that BOTH their abilities need weather.
ОтветитьOne of the biggest issues golisopod faced was the fact that Araquanid was in the game as well which does everything better than Golisopod (barring maybe speed but it was a fantastic tank)
ОтветитьSneasel and Weavile really benefited from the physical-special split.
ОтветитьDragon types.
Try to have a full party of Dragon types without post-game legendaries or having to trade them in.
The new ones also lock them out because screw Dragon type trainers I guess.
If Only "Emergency Exit" waited till the end of the round before auto-switching... at least then you don't miss out on an attack if your opponent hit to below half-HP before you attacked.
ОтветитьFor Glaceon in particular, before SwSh it was basically impossible to use it on a playthrough team without trading bc the Ice Rock was ALWAYS either towards the end of the main game or in the post game. So if you truly wanted to use a Glaceon on your main team you either had to spend an awful lot of time grinding it back up or just use an Eevee for a huge chunk of the game and miss out on a ton of STAB ice moves via level up.
ОтветитьRegigigas and Slacking are the poster children of "screwed over by Gamefreak".
Ответить"Ask houndour about its johto placement"
... wait, the houndoom line was in gen 2??????????
RIP My boys Archen/Archeops who still don't have a second ability. My fav fossil mons, but defeatist really makes them tough to work with unless you over level.
ОтветитьCan we talk about Flygon and how, despite being designed on an insect, IS NOT a Bug/Dragon type?
Can we also talk about how it DID NOT receive a Mega Evolution because of Artist Block, but ANOTHER Ground/Dragon-type DID?
Ya boy Flygon so disrespected.
Oh boy ditto and zorua got really annoying in Scarlet and Violet. I didn't know you had to ram trees to get a pineco so I'd run around looking for one in that wooded area for hours on end waiting for one to hop around only for it to be a ditto or zorua every single time. Funny thinking about it now lol
