New Geely Preface 2023 in-depth Walkaround

Geely will be producing the 2023 Preface, a mid-size sedan that will feature the signature Geely grille and long, narrow headlights similar to the Emgrand. Although the exterior design will remain mostly unchanged, the foglight housing now has chrome accents. The base model comes with a single pipe, while the high-end model features twin-exhaust pipes. The side of the car maintains a simple and slender layout.

Under the hood, the Preface has a 2.0T engine that produces a maximum power of 140kW and a peak torque of 300Nm, with a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox. This mid-size sedan boasts a top speed of 210 km/h and can accelerate from 0-100 in 7.9 seconds. The NEDC fuel consumption rate is 6.7/100.

Inside, the Preface features suede material and blue stitching, along with front and rear parking radars and 360-degree view cameras to support its level 2 driving assistance system. This system includes adaptive cruise control, autonomous parking, autonomous emergency braking, lane keep assist, and hill assist.
