A helpful comment just pointed out that my problems with the 5x lens were because the Pixel 7 wasn't changing lenses quickly enough, so it was just cropping in on the main lens. It's my mistake for not noticing in the metadata, but I did test it multiple times throughout the day and any time I took the same photo at all 4 zoom levels, it used the bad lens.
ОтветитьI loved photos on my pixel 7 but the video quality was not what I was used to so I had to switch to the iPhone 14 Pro & I love the video quality & camera but sometimes I do miss the pixel sometimes
ОтветитьSummary: Pixel 7 is a beast and iPhone doesn't even come close, period. My 2 Cents.
ОтветитьPixel 7 beats iphone 14 in every review except this one... Fanboi
ОтветитьAre u paid blogger... In the other vlogger google pixel always win in photography but in videography iphone win.
ОтветитьApple still the king but you have to pay the price 800€ P7pro vs 1329€ iphone 14 pro in France !
ОтветитьMan, your bias is so obvious, you don't even hide it, Apple affiliated
Ответитьjust tell everybody Iphone is the best biaesd
ОтветитьI have used Pixel 4a for 2 years before recently moving to Iphone 14pro. It might surprise some but honestly the Pixel 4a can beat the iPhone in some cases. The pictures look great compared to Iphone which I often find quite flat. Iphone has always preferred keeping pics a lot neutral, but the 14pro pics lack character sometimes, atleast to a layman. I guess Pixel is best for insta and fb kind pics and IPhone is best for professional photographers as you can do a a lot of post processing
Ответитьhow are you gonna leave out astrophotography
ОтветитьAs I have a pixel 7 pro I love this video as it really compares
ОтветитьThere is so many comparisons P7 Pro & iphone 14 Pro All of them are different P7 Pro is the best or vice versa. I own P7 all I can say haven't come cross w Terrible results. Anyway!!
ОтветитьBeen watching a lot of comparison of the 14 pro and the s23 ultra. Seems like Samsung has done a lot this year. Can't wait to see your comparison on it even when MKBHD said that he waits to see your videos on the subject of camera's 😊👍
ОтветитьThis is what I hate about the pixel. Its portrait mode is a mess. You'd expect Google to have trained ai models to accurately detect the subject, but nope, the s22 ultra does it a lot better, as well as the iPhone aided by the lidar.
And seriously, shooting human portraits on 1x is terrible. The focal length is too low and faces look distorted. Sadly the pixel can only do 2x digital in portrait mode, or you have to use the 5x in normal mode. For people, 1x is too wide and 5x is too narrow. A 2x telephoto is ideal.
I bought the iPhone after being on android for years, and coming from a Pixel. I bought the iPhone for very specific reasons and for me, it excels. Both awesome phones, great comparison.
ОтветитьIt strange. All blind test, google is the winer. Not good if the tester is iphone fan.
Ответитьpixel to me is just half baked. iphone and samsung are the way to go. and to think pixel is directly from people who makes android.
ОтветитьThe auto HDR effect that google forces on my shots is disgusting. Very disappointed and almost no reviewer talked about it. Looks good and natural in the viewfinder, and then 2 seconds later it looks like someone with zero taste did an ugly grade. I hate this to the point where i will return the phone.
ОтветитьI’ve been reading that Google has been fixing a couple of these camera issues with different updates… is this true? Anyone knows?
ОтветитьProper camera review
ОтветитьThis is a great camera comparison, thanks for doing it! I have to say, I'm really enjoying my Pixel 7. It's by far the best camera I've ever owned, and it takes great shots effortlessly. On previous phones, I always had to stand there perfectly still, tap the thing I wanted to focus on, then pray that it stayed still long enough for me to take a not-blurry photo of it. The Pixel 7 is perfect for pointing and shooting.
With all that said, there's no argument that the iPhone 14 acts more reliably and doesn't try too hard to change the look of a photo during post processing. Although I do think the iPhone oversaturated some of those outdoor shots. Then again, the Pixel's cinematic mode is a total joke.
All I can say is it amazes me how far computational photography has improved in recent years, and I can't wait to see where both Apple and Google can take things in the future!
No comment on how extremely better you looked in the Pixel selfie compared to iPhone? The iPhone one made you into a white ghost
ОтветитьPixel 7 pro 💯🥰
ОтветитьAs somebody who has owned many devices (both Apple and Android) I thought this was a well-balanced. It gets to the point and simplifies the information, without doing an injustice to each respective device. I believe people need to stop being so butt-hurt when their beloved company isn't getting the praise THEY believe it deserves. If you want confirmation bias that bad, go to a community forum and you can have it in droves.
ОтветитьCinematic Mode on Pixel seems like a complete after thought; just because the iPhone had it. Pixel just added the Cinematic Mode for marketing purposes only.
ОтветитьI’ve got the iPhone 11 currently. My friend has the pixel one and her photos crush my iPhone 11 photos 😂. I’m thinking about upgrading . Thanks for sharing good content
Ответить@Tyler_Stalman This is why i hate it when an apple tech champ does a video comparison with a pixel phone. for the 5x u gotta wiggle ur hand a bit for the tele lens to kick in. PLEASE SOMEONE TAKE HIM TO A PIXEL SCHOOL
ОтветитьIdk if it's just me but colours coming out of Pixel 7 pro looked very cinematic to me. Rich and Subtle tones.
ОтветитьPixel always great 👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьVideos are always delightful :)
ОтветитьHey, for whatever reason, your pixel 5x photo in the one example was a crop off the main camera rather than the telephoto being used. This happens on both phones if the phone feels the lighting is not sufficient for the telephoto which allows less light in. This clearly was an outdoor case so I'd say it was a bug but not unheard-of for either phone (and many others).
ОтветитьAfter watching everyones review , finally gone with the PIXEL 7 normal version, reason 1 - way more cheaper gives same cam quality
2- software updates and stock android experience
3- pixel is hands down good at photography . ( Although I don't use to do a lot on phone )
Just chill and get the Pixel 7 ... Waiting for the update to improve the bugs, but the design , compactibility and software. Best ever for the budget . I believe in Google. 💪🏾
dude it is literally 2x times more price compare to pixel 7 pro
ОтветитьIn Europe you save €400. apple raised ots prices and pixel stayed true to their original. So this was a no-brainer for me
ОтветитьPeasant cameras. S22 Ultra is King. S23 Ultra will be Thanos
ОтветитьI'm not gonna lie iPhone is a clear winner because the result are more consistent towards most situation, however Pixel 7 pro is a good value if you're just looking for a good camera phone. I ended up with Pixel 7 pro for AUD$850 compare to iPhone 14 pro max that would cost me AUD$1899
ОтветитьMight as well review iPhone only 😂
ОтветитьAs of now, in terms of quality and smoothness, there is no better player than iPhone. I like flexibility of S22 Series camera but it’s undeniable how well Apple executed videography.
ОтветитьI love your comparisons so much! My dream is “Pixel 7 Pro vs iPhone 14 Pro vs S22 Ultra zoom 20 photos comparisons in different range”. It would be so helpful for people who are looking for a good camera at the start with photography. For me too. Good day Tyler!!! 😉
ОтветитьFYI cinematic video/portrait video is actually introduced in android first,
ОтветитьI'm definitely a google pixel fan and user since the first and I gotta say, that i feel that the AI processing for portrait mode feels like it hasn't improved in terms of edges. I was excited to have cinematic blur on video, but its pretty disappointing and looks pretty fake compare to cinematic on the Iphone. I do like the contrastier and punchier photos of the P7P, but the AI will sometimes over do it many things as seen in this video compared to the iP14. iP14 keeps it simple and most of the time makes the photos look more flat (generally more boring imo), but it is definitely more consistent than the P7P. If you're not gonna pixel peep every single IG photo (like most people) while viewing on a phone screen then I personally think the P7P has more attractive photos IMO. In terms of reliability iP14 has it in the bag especially for video. Cinematic blur is cool but if youre not content creator and you generally just regular videos, i think both phone do great (iP14 with more of the edge).
Anyways really great comparison!
Part of me would like to jump into pixel, for phone Photography. But, i'm just too invested in the apple ecosystem, from tracking my skis with an airtag, to relying on apples security and tighter browsing management, it's just too much to go android.
ОтветитьAnother Apple fan boy Fake review. Waste of time watching this fake review
