During the pandemic, I bought a Lufthansa A350 economy ticket for just below €600 during peak Christmas travel season (25 Dec 2020 - 10 Jan 2021), from Munich to Tokyo Haneda and Osaka back to Munich. Too bad the flight was cancelled last-minute by Lufthansa due to the pandemic.

Nowadays, the same flight easily costs more than €1000, and flight time takes around 2 hours longer due to Russian airspace closure.

Prior to that, I even got a return ticket with KLM in April 2020 from Munich to Tokyo for just €400. But it was also cancelled due to Japan's closure to foreign tourists during the pandemic.

And I'm looking at your front screen and it's exactly what I would be looking at lining up for a runway. I know simulators played a big part in your training. Seen a lot of flying videos and I have to say this has been one of the most pleasant experiences! I grew up in the airline industry with my father being an airline manager for BOAC and then British Airways. Of course I ranked them as the best airline! But having travelled other carriers, I also knew Lufthansa, Swiss Air, Air France, KLM, and Japan Airlines were just as good. I give this plane, this crew, and Lufthansa high marks! Well done. After few min from takenoff, Auto-pilot engaged … pilots relax until before landing … auto-pilot disengaged … look like an easy job but not , very good video and thanks for sharing, always have a safe flight and god bless all pilots .. 😀👏👍🙏🏻
